What will be the records for these four? Who wins the division? Any make the wildcard?

I'll take the Giants winning the Division. Eagles win Wild Card.

I'm biased, but I believe the Eagles get it done this year.

The Eagles are over rated. They are starting to become the off season champs every year. Unfortunately they didn't learn from Washington that you don't get a trophy for having the "best" off season.
Last time the Giants won the super bowl they started the next year out 12-1 (then cheddar plax shot himself)

I'm not a Cowboys fan at all...in fact I can't stand them. I think there schedule lays out pretty good for them, I can see them winning 8 games pretty easy and possibly as many as 12. I think they may be the surprise team out of the East this year.

Philly might be most talented team in football. Love Shady + think they don't appreciate him enough! Love the Ryan's pickup! Giants defending champ. Skins much improved w RG3. Everybody is sleeping on Dallas. They were a different team w D Murray IMO. He brought a physicality they have missed. Love them getting best corner coming out in years. Still don't like their safety deal though!

Philly has some talent but they're not as good as they think. Vick is already talking them up again this year. Last year the "dream team" went 8-8 and this year Vick is saying he thinks they could be a dynasty like the 49ers or Cowboys of the past.
- Jul 19, 12, 08:13 AM #10
I know you hate Philly but come on. How good should they think they are? They underperformed last year and went 8-8. If that is not a dose of humble pie, I do not know what is. Vince Young is dumber than Michael Vick and he has been relegated to Buffalo now. The "dream team" Philly label was the most overblown comment in sports last season. You can't create that in football. Like NY (without the titles), the Eagles are a greatly run franchise. I thought the Nnamdi signing was overrated, but the other signings I thought were good. DeMeco was a great signing this offseason for Philly. Home of the worst LB corp yearly.
I am interested to see how the Giants perform. Eli went beast mode latter part of the season and through the playoffs. I love me some Victor Cruz. Does he slide in to the #1/#2 WR slot smoothly? I think so. To me the Giants worst enemy is themselves. From my perspective when they have faltered in various years, a lot has to do with self implosion for one reason or another.
Ready to catch RGIII. Wonder if he can restore that franchise.
I do this every season and I have no idea why, but I think the Cowboys win the division.

VY is dumber than Vick.
I think the Eagles don't use Shady enough also.
Looking forward to following this division. It's always entertaining.

- Jul 19, 12, 09:36 AM #14I stand by my comment. The Eagles are over rated. They lost their best offensive lineman for the season. They're not the franchise the Giants are. You can say that all you want but 4 championships vs 0 says a lot.

And btw, Vince young might be dumb but he didn't say the Eagles had a possible dynasty. Perhaps Vick should win just one championship before considering that.

Oh and Eli played good all season. Not just the latter part of the season & playoffs.
The Giants defense is what changed the last few weeks.
- Jul 19, 12, 10:01 AM #16
As talented as Philly is they should finish 1st or 2nd.
If Vick didn't say what he said then I'd question his head and his heart. Saying we have the Dream Team(VY) is way worse than saying we have a possible dynasty(Vick). They should have a possible dynasty with their talent and Andy Reid coaching. IMO.
Who said they were the franchise the Giants are? I missed that part. I saw greatly run. Are the Eagles not a greatly ran franchise like the Giants are?
- Jul 19, 12, 10:23 AM #17
You didn't see it because it does not exist. Anything NY Giant related or pro-Philly, H20 comes out swinging and asks questions later
Since Reid has been there they have been to the playoffs 9 out of 11 years and won the division 6 out of 11 years. It is a solid operation by NFL standards. Pretty sure the Colts and Pats are the only teams to be in the playoffs and win their division that many times during that span. That does not mean I am saying they are as good as the Giants who have two titles during that time. Which I originally alluded to a few posts back. You know we love you, H20.

I responded to the post below. You compared the two franchises and said, "Like NY, the Eagles are a greatly run franchise". I simply pointed out that they are not like New York. They're not as good of a franchise. The final goal in the league isn't to win division titles and make it to the playoffs. If that were the case the Buffalo Bills would have had a dynasty in the Jim Kelly era.
You said they're a greatly run franchise. I disagree with that.
I hate the Cowboys and Redskins as much as I do the Eagles. But the Eagles aren't as good as everyone else thinks. They're overrated. The Cowboys are going to be better than Philly this year. If Dallas can get over that hump they're a better team than Philly.
And does no one think it's going to hurt them losing their starting left tackle for the year? Who's going to stop Demarcus Ware, Orakpo, Jason Pierre Paul from getting to Vick?
