The Bengals could win the division and a playoff game next year and this would still be the wrong decision. That’s the hard part about this. It’s so obvious to everyone except Mike Brown.

Been there done that. Bengals attendance only ahead of Chargers who have half a stadium and 0-16 Cleveland. Can't get much worse than that.

The fact that the players want him to stay is exactly why he should go. The players can push him around. He’s a players coach. He doesn’t command respect. He hugs them and tells them they’ll get it right next time champ whenever they make a mistake. You think when guys get to New England and go through a training camp with Belicheck that they like the guy? Hell no. They hate that dude, but damnit they respect the hell out of him. Same with Zimmer. Guys like Marvin Lewis are why we have participation trophy.

It’s hilarious to hear former Pats talk about their time in New England. Most talk about how massive of a jack wagon Belichick was. But not a one would trade it for a “friend”.

I’m not sure how they have any season ticket holders left.

    Bandwagon fan.

Although he went from one team with no super bowls to another team with no super bowls.

Bengals had to keep Marvin because Hue was not available. In two years, Hue will be unemployed and be ready to be hired as the next Bengal coach.

I think I’ll adopt the Vikings. They were my favorite team years ago when they had the Purple People Eaters. Carl Eller, Allan Page, and friends. Tough as nails. Always had heartbreak in the Super Bowl, though.

We have 5 and our butts will still be in the seats, but I’d be lying if I said I’m going to be excited about going.

I am not shocked one bit. I thought he might want go. It was and is time, but he will be here as long as he wants. AD will be the QB as long as Marvin is here. Don't get hopes up any other way. Mikey does not like change at all. It will be that way for as long as he is alive, I imagine.

Interesting story. I met a guy golfing back in the early fall that does contract work in Cincinnati for furniture, upholstery, etc. I have no idea if he was a blow hard or actuallt knew stuff. He did the some stuff for the renovation of the new lockerroom at PBS and some stuff for the offices. What Hamilton County paid for was top of line. The offices were on the Bengals dime. He said MB ordered the cheapest stuff they had.

He also did work for Paul Guenther and his home. He worked mostly with his wife. After his first year he wanted to fire some assistants and MB refused because Vance Joseph wanted to come to Cincy. So in order to get VJ here he said he would have to take part of Guenther's salary to do it. PG agreed, but told Marvin that he would never sign another contract with Mikey. The wa all according to Guenther's wife through this guy.

Again, I have no idea if this is true because this guy was one of those blowhards that is always trying to impress.

He might be dead on, though. It was entertaining, although I took everything with a grain of salt.

He also said wuld not change when Katie takes over. Same cloth. He did say Mike Brown's wife is a jewel and the only one that cares about the fans of the family.

Is this how Tom Cruise felt like in the "Edge of Tomorrow" movie when he dies 160 times?
