The Bengals have picked this clown up off the street 4 times that I know of when they could be scouring the practice squads for someone that they could maybe work with in the future.

Dalton is just a HORRIBLE decision maker, always has been and evidently always will be!!
Burfict back. Kirkpatrick back. Gino healthy. Better effort or better players and experience on the field? Lions TD today takes advantage of mismatch on practice squad LB Evans. Lack of effort by Evans? Or inexperience/lack of ability?

By the way, Lions defense playing with zero effort on this drive by the Bengals.

Well the Bengals had their one annual good drive in the first half that we see each week. Problem is we usually don't see anything else after that. Let's see if they can change it this week.

It wasn't stupid Thom (I agree with you on him, he is terrible) that made the comment about effort. It was the color announcer.

You keep hammering on Winston. My comment about today's line play perhaps being better is about the entire starting offensive line GROUP. You are fixated on Winston.

Our offensive line has been pathetic all season, so bad that this patchwork line today might play better than they did.

Stafford is another example that other qbs have bad lines, but doesn't mean their play has to be as bad as Dalton and the Bengals offense has been.

Going into this game the Lions have given up 42 sacks. That is with Stafford actually leading the NFL in evading the most sacks in the NFL. Yet even with a bad line he and the Lions offense still have had a good year.

I honestly really like how Boling has looked at LT. Also like how hard Westerman comes off the ball in the run game. Just another example of Paul Alexander being stubborn imo.

And I will make the inferred follow comment for you (which I agree with) ...

This points out perhaps Dalton's biggest weakness as QB - no creativity. He struggles making plays outside the offensive plan. He is very good at executing an offensive game plan. When it breaks down, big trouble.

Agreed. He just needs basically everything around him to be perfect and go according to plan. He needs a good line, good receivers, and as you stated the game plan has to go according to plan for him.

With that said Dalton finally throws a nice deep pass on the sideline to Green without throwing it out of bounds. But of coarse Green gets a PI on it. They can't get anything to go right.
