Confirmed today. Hanging up the pads to join MNF.

Smart man. I'm sure he's getting a hefty pay day.

    About 5 mill.

He should be put in Ring Of Honor next year.
To play 15 years for same team now days, plus add on having to play for Jerry Jones that long.

One of my all-time Cowboy favorites! I have been a Cowboy fan my entire life and a sports fan! Jason Witten is class personified. He was great on the field and off the field. He is what all athletes should be!

He's following in the path to Monday Night Football of another retired Dallas player (albeit the ESPN cable version instead of ABC network version). Dandy Don Meredith, former Cowboy QB, was color analyst on the original MNF broadcast alongside Howard Cosell beginning in 1970. I fondly remember listening to him, Howard Cosell, and joined later by Frank Gifford.

He was a lot of fun.

I've enjoyed Witten for some time, and I can't stand the Starboys and I am at best lukewarm on UT. So that's saying something. I wish him well.
