Because Iíll never truly know his intentions, his determination/fight, his mindset, his goals and what he wanted to accomplish. He accomplished some good for sure but without knowing how he feels about it privately itíll always be hard for me to have a good read on what went down and why it went down the way it did. I donít think he can feel too good about it but I could be wrong. Publicly he has said all the right things in the form of compromise. Weíll never know how dirty he feels about it.

I may be really late to the conversion - but I'm going to put in my two cents.

Cap chose his fight. The way he chose to fight his fight was against the social norm.

While I deam domestic abuse to be below what he chose to do - he willingly chose to violate the social code. No owner of any football team should be forced into employing someone who does that. White or black.

That said - I'd never employ anyone who hits a woman.

    Both are indefensible IMO

Interesting. Do you think the black community considers him a sellout? (I'm not including the other players, just the general public.)

There are a lot of people that do consider him a sellout. I don’t think it is at Kanye West level but there are people who are disappointed in him and Anquan Boldin. Whether it is a majority of people who feel that way isn’t something I can answer. As I mentioned I really don’t know how I feel about Malcolm Jenkins and without a private, off the record conversation it will be impossible to have an informed opinion of him.

I do not think there was collusion involved, I just think no one wanted the baggage that would come with the hire. I always put myself in the position and if I'm an owner I would not want to bring in an average player who would bring a lot of heat to my organization. If it's a top level player I would probably not mind taking the heat.

Another draft and another crop of QB's drafted. This guy is no longer news. Time to move on.

If I pay a guy millions of dollars to play football then that’s what I want, he can protest on his own time, not mine.

If he chooses to protest on my time then it’s my choice not to have him just like it’s his choice to protest.
