Greg Little being evicted from his posh pad?

NFL wide receiver Greg Little has a big problem -- his landlords are trying to evict him from his sick Hollywood Hills bachelor pad ... but GL says HE'S the one getting screwed.

Here's what we know ... back in January, the 25-year-old free agent began renting the insane 3 bedroom crib for $15,000 per month. And things seemed to be fine until Greg missed a payment.

The landlord says Greg's rent check bounced -- and he's given the NFL player an ultimatum ... pay up or get out. Greg didn't take either option and is still occupying the home.

But Greg says that's a load of crap ... claiming he INTENTIONALLY withheld payment from the landlord because the house is essentially a lemon.

"When you pay for a high dollar house, you want everything to be smooth," Greg tells TMZ Sports ... "stuff was breaking left and right. They wouldn't fix the stuff."

The landlords have now filed court docs to force Greg out of the home.

Greg says he's not trying to be difficult -- he just wants to be treated fairly.

    Stay tuned ...

The party is over Greg, it's time to join the real world. Either pay up, or get out.

You cannot withhold rent payment just because things are not getting fixed to your liking. There are processes to go through in order to deal with landlord issues.

Second rounder, now a free agent, and he's paying $15k per month for a posh house someplace. Come on, man. How did SOMEBODY in his life not pull him aside?

You are right, he was lucky to catch on with the Bengals last year. He should have been saving every penny and living like a nomad.

Just another bankrupt statistic from the NFL.

I call it luck when he makes a catch.

Maybe all the leeches that saw the cash cow and are/were stuck to it are/were hard to remove, especially when they are giving a kid everything they want at the time and the people who are talking sense to them want them to make sacrificies?

Yup, the "I'm not paying my rent because my landlord is a bully" schtick doesn't typically end well for the tenant...
