I really have no words. I got nothing. The Bengals are just a bad football team. Defensively inept, offensively challenged, special teams below average, and coaching pitiful.

Well said and in just a few words. Could not have said it any better. Good job!

I am still shocked at just how bad their defense is this year. I thought coming into this year they would be the strength of the team led by their D-line. Oh how wrong I was.

The linebacker injuries killed the defense, along with Burfict falling off a cliff in his abilities. Maybe Burfict is bothered by the hip, but it is shocking how slow he is now and how far away he is from the player we have seen prior to this year. The Bengals linebackers are just terrible.

    My observations on today's game:

    - I think the Bengals were sitting in the locker room before the game, and they looked around at the players that were playing today because of all the guys out injured, and felt they had no chance. They came out of the gate today like they knew they were going to lose. They didn't show any life until the Browns started punking them. Then they finally got mad and started playing with an edge. They played better after that but they truly were outmanned today.

    - Auden Tate showed us why he doesn't play more. Yes, he made one nice catch but his routes were bad all day and he had a drop that no NFL receiver should drop.

    - Billy Price was terrible today. He had four bad snaps, including the one that the Browns ran in for a score. He got blown up multiple times. Very disappointing game out of Price.

    - Dalton was off all day today. He missed throws he has been making all year. I think he knew he was going to get pressured because of the line situation today and that was in his head from the start of the game.

    - Joe Mixon cannot be trusted to run the ball in short yardage situations. He has to lead the league in negative yardage runs, and most of them are his fault, not the line's. Sometimes you just have to dig in, run up the blockers' backs and tough out a couple yards instead of trying to bounce it out.

    - To JOAT's comment above about Hue taking over next year, the Bengals will not draw 30,000 fans a game if they make that move. I will be shocked if they hire Hue as head coach.

I don't know why you would EVER be shocked by what Mike Brown does. He flat out doesn't care what the Cincinnati fans think and how many seats he sells as long as the Brown family is making money. He is stubborn as a mule and will take this team to his and it's grave. He will only have someone coach the team that will kiss his you know what and he will never give up the control of the team to someone that could take it to the next level.

Hopefully you don't have what I did this week, I couldn't have made it to urgent care without a diaper and a bucket. Gotta love Pedialyte though. I've been drinking it with water for a few days and that stuff does wonders.

Now for the bad news. You'll probably get better way before the our Bengals do.

The Chubb receiving TD and Njoku's TD looked like awesome plays.

Was driving back from family, so had to listen to the first half of the game on the radio. A point was brought up that I thought was interesting. Why in the world...if you have what is considered the league's worst defense...would you choose to defer, if you win the coin toss? You're darn near putting your offense in a deficit by the time they hit the field. At least put some pressure on the other team, having to "answer" (hopefully) your offense...instead of the other way around.

But, it is the Bengals...so, nevermind. <sigh>

Chubb's "catch" was impressive but honestly I thought it should have been incomplete. He was still bobbling the ball when he was laying on his back out of bounds. I was surprised that call wasn't overturned.

We all are well aware of the answer to this question, but I ask it anyway.

The Bengals started the year 4-1... They have won one game since then, and that was because Winston got confused which jersey he was wearing.... how is Marvin Lewis still the coach today?

Unless you think his successor is already on the staff why does it matter if he's fired now or after the season? It isn't like they need to get a jump on recruiting or anything.
