This latest trade wasn't made in the dark so Cleveland probably knew G was available but made no play for him. And Cleveland definitely needs a different QB on the roster.
    Cleveland may need a new GM.

    This also explains why NE didn't trade Garoppolo to Cleveland for a better deal than they got from SF. BB knew Hoyer would be cut and he wanted Hoyer. Cleveland doesn't have a backup QB that NE wanted.
