    Better Sport: College or NFL?

What sport is putting out the best product right now? College football is very regional, but IMO it is a superior product week in and week out. There are more storylines to follow, individual games mean more, and for many there is a much stronger connection to your team.

This is purely subjective, but give me the NFL. Superior athletes and skill. Games are much quicker and I would disagree with the story line angle. The NFL is set up like a weekly reality show. Definitely more passion on the collegiate level and better at-game experience.

I really like college football but at the end of the day 95% of it is just football and nothing more. What I mean is 95% of the teams have no chance to compete with Alabama, OSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, and a few others.

There is so much more parity in professional football that I think it is a much more interesting game.

Excellent point on the games being quicker, the NFL has that part right and College Football has been milking the ad cow for years.

And I agree, I want to see the best and that is only found in the NFL.

NFL all day every day. Every week there are multiple big blowouts and many games where there is no doubt about who will win and are completely non competitive. The only advantage college has over the NFL is quantity of games.

I’d much rather watch college football. Always have. So much better athmosphere than the pro game.

NFL, other than rivalry week. I love those weeks. But I will take the NFL over College.

College football is pretty hard to watch.

Give me the NFL all day, every day.

College 100% for me. The passion and unpredictability cannot be matched.

I’ve seen very few college games recently that were harder to watch than the Eagles/ Falcons the other night.

I could easily give up watching the NFL without too much thought. I’m 100% a college football guy.

That being said, the NFL is a better product, as a whole.

    This

I'll add, at least for me it's the variety of college football that I love. In the NFL the offenses are so similar every game and possession looks the same, not bad, just the same. College football you can have an option team facing an Air Raid team on one channel then flip over and see a team running out of the "I" going against team in the Pistol running almost all RPO's.

    I love it!

Very few things are better than the Army/Navy game. NFL rarely puts out anything that great.

NFL is Walmart, College is local hardware store, both are great for what they do and whom they serve.

I guess you haven’t watched a game so far this week. The closest score has been a 3 TD win for Miss St over K-state. Or maybe last week where over half the winning teams put up over 40 points and almost 2/3 of the games were won by at least 3 TD’s. Only 5 of the games involving top 25 teams last week could have been considered “decent”. Yes there are good college football games every week, but there are a TON of bad ones. I’ll sit through a thousand games like the Eagles-Falcons game before I sit through one college game where Ohio State, Clemson, or Oklahoma win by 6 or more touchdowns like they did last week.
