49ers vs. Chiefs (Super Bowl LIV) Predictions/Updates

Should be a good one with the Chiefs offense vs the 49ers defense looking forward to it.

I am rooting for the Chiefs. I want to see Andy Reid get a super bowl title.

Yeah, that's probably the boat I'm in too. Although it would be nice to see the 49'ers win it, just to tick off the Patriots and Steelers fans, too.

I am rooting for the Chiefs for the exact same reason. Was a big Eagles fan during his tenure there with McNabb. It's going to be a tough one and I think San Fran wins, but I'd like for the Chiefs to take it home.

I want the Chiefs because it's been 50 years.

But the 49ers looked awfully good on both sides of the ball yesterday.

Me too. As a lifelong Eagles fan (and former season ticket holder), I'm definitely rooting for Andy. I was all for him leaving when the Eagles let him go, but he did rescue the team from the Rich Kotite, Ray Rhodes era. If the Eagles hadn't gotten a Super Bowl a couple years ago, I may have felt a little different.

If the Chiefs get off to another slow start like they have the last two games, they will be in trouble against the 49ers.

I think the Chiefs win by a field goal. Should be a fun game for sure.

Is the lack of interest in this thread an indication of the lack of excitement for this Super Bowl?

With the two week break there is always a lull, but this time the whole Kobe thing has put a shadow over the entire week.

KC is favored by 1.5. I believe San Fransisco should be the one giving a point or two.

I'm not sure I could be less interested.

The only reason I am even interested in it is because of 49er's tackle Kofi Amechea and KC center Austin Reiter. #OnceABullAlwaysABull

However, I probably won't watch the game. I will driving back from a wedding down at Sanibel Island and am not interested enough to listen to it, though my son and daughter-in-law, riding with us, might be. I'd rather listen to a book.

Historically I have always hated the 49ers and have no feelings either way about the Chiefs.

I'm pulling for the Chiefs because I like Mahomes.

Per player rankings, the 49ers have 18 of the top 25 players in this game. Wow.

I have no rooting interest in either team, but I love this matchup. It has been a long time since I was looking forward to a Super Bowl as much as this one.
