Browns take Charles Gaines a CB from Louisville. He's small, 5' 11" and 180 lbs. Good cover man but not so interested in stopping the run. Should be a nickel and dime CB and be used in punt and kick return.

What is the speculation as to why he dropped to the 6th round?

Inconsistent motor at times, but that might be more fatigue-oriented rather than an effort issue. Will charge in headfirst and lose sight of running back. Sometimes defaults to garden variety hand-fighting when pass rush stalls. Can lose gas with too much wasted motion as a pass rusher -- especially as a three-technique. Pass rush is tied to hands and winning early, so he must develop a counter move. Had a better junior season than senior. Lacks power and girth in his lower half. Plus not very big 6'2 293 small for a DT.

Browns take a TE finally with pick #19 in round 6. They take Malcolm Johnson from Miss St. Interesting that Buffalo picked right before Cleveland and they too took a TE--Nick O'Leary, Florida ST. I wonder which one the Browns had graded higher.

From Hobson on Bengals website, Marvin Lewis talking about the TE picks:

If the Jermaine Gresham Era wasn't over with the Kroft pick (the nameplate was already off Gresham's locker), it is now.

"We’re making a new transition and we appreciated those guys’ work and everything they did for us," said Hayes of Gresham and Alex Smith. "But we’re going to continue to move forward... this ship stops for nobody. If you’re not going to be on board, it’s going to set sail anyway. That’s the thing about it in this league. It’s constantly changing and that’s the only consistency in this league: It’s change.”

Bengals draft second TE, take Auburn's Uzomah in fifth

The Auburn TE runs a 4.6 40 with good size (6'5", 264), long arms and blocking ability.

The Browns are the clock for their 12th pick of the draft. EVERBODY is waiting with baited breath...

    and the pick is....

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, a smallish CB from Oregon. He actually was a projected 1st round pick before tearing his ACL in practice prior to the Ducks national semi final game against Florida St.

That's the 24th pick of the 7th round. It is the one I have been looking for--the last for the Browns in the 2015 NFL draft. Good night and God bless!

Another good value. Ranked #3 safety and expected to be gone in round 3. The Bengals' draft has turned out pretty good overall. I give it a B- but if a couple of the injured and the projects turn out, it could be much better looking back in 2-3 years.

    Dallas Cowboys

Needs Analysis: The addition of Darren McFadden is stop-gap at best. Despite talent on the roster at RB, this is the draft to go bargain hunting at that position if desired. Dallas could use immediate help at cornerback. Rod Marinelli demands upfield talent from his interior, and that is missing on this roster. Dallas could look for SAM or MIKE LB this year. The depth of the OL might be addressed at some point.

Pick Player Pos Ht Wt College Grade Watch
    Round 1, Pick 27 (27) Byron Jones CB 6'1" 199 Connecticut 5.6
Pick Analysis: "I think this pick fits need. He plays hard, but like most tall corners he's a little bit stiff. He's gifted and explosive, and will help out the Cowboys' defense immediately. Dallas will be excited about this kid." -- Mike Mayock
    Round 2, Pick 28 (60) Randy Gregory OLB 6'5" 235 Nebraska 6.4
Pick Analysis: "We've talked all along that there's no denying the talent. I hope that the Dallas Cowboys have a plan in place, an infrastructure in place, to help this young man deal with what he's about to experience." -- Mike Mayock
    Round 3, Pick 27 (91) Chaz Green OT 6'5" 314 Florida 5.4
Pick Analysis: "This is an interesting pick. He played right tackle. The more I watched D.J. Humphries, the more I appreciated Chaz Green. He has a chance to start on the right side." -- Mike Mayock
    Round 4, Pick 28 (127) Damien Wilson ILB 6'0" 245 Minnesota 5.1
Pick Analysis: Wilson is a run and chase linebacker who was highly productive in college despite being an average athlete. Dallas has a need for linebackers so this was a solid depth pickup for them. --Mark Dulgerian
    Round 5, Pick 27 (163) Ryan Russell DE 6'4" 269 Purdue 5.0
    Round 7, Pick 19 (236) (from Chargers) Mark Nzeocha OLB 6'2" 232 Wyoming 5.0
Pick Analysis: Dallas gets a project with the athleticism coaches like to develop. He has an uphill battle for a roster spot and will need to impress on special teams early. --Mark Dulgerian
Round 7, Pick 26 (243) (from Ravens) Laurence Gibson OT 6'6" 305 Virginia Tech 5.1
Pick Analysis: The Cowboys add another body to compete for their offensive line depth with this pick. Gibson was inconsistent in college but has the tools coaches like to develop.
    --Mark Dulgerian
    Round 7, Pick 29 (246) (from 49ers through Colts) Geoff Swaim TE 6'4" 250 Texas --
Pick Analysis: The Cowboys felt comfortable enough with this local product to give him a chance to compete for a position that has some long-term questions. --Mark Dulgerian

I am happy overall with what the Boys did.

You are right. Being an LSU fan does not make her a jerk. Being selfish, and criticizing her son's decision instead of supporting him in a big moment for him is what makes her a jerk. Saying "go tigers" after he picked Bama also makes her a jerk.
