Are we really surprised he would opt out to sign with a 67-win team which won the title last season?

I just don't see how the Cavs flip Love into George or Butler even with a 3rd team involved.

Griffin was out the door at the end of the month, so it was not much shock to see him leave. And let's be honest, LeBron is the GM. The GM and coach of LeBron's teams are there for LeBron to take shots at when his team loses to deflect blame.

One scenario I saw had the TWolves dumping Lavine, Dunn, and the '17 and '18 first round pick for Butler. That would be worth it.

I'm not sure I completely believe that Griffin was on his way out of the door. Especially since Cleveland refused to allow him to interview for other potential GM jobs that were available. Add in LeBron's tweet last night and I can't help but believe that the plan was to keep Griffin as GM. No way Chauncey Billups comes in and is a servant to LeBron's demands.

Agreed. Is Rubio a free agent?

Edit: He isn't. Found the list.

I'd switch Tyus Jones and Kris Dunn. Keep LaVine and the 17' pick in there. They can't have the 18' first round. Maybe the 18' second round.

Yeah what a loser. I can't believe he actually wants to win championships. Unbelievable.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this. The first time he did it, OK, I get it, but now he's a serial ring chaser.
