Nice backup for Jamison/Gasol. He's burried this year.

Daily Dime - ESPN This guy is witty and I like his take.

    Anthony Randolph Award
(For the player whose great summer league will be a career highlight)

    Morrison

    Adam Morrison, Los Angeles Clippers

At this point, I'm rooting for Morrison to make an NBA roster and start realizing his dream of having a long career. He probably was never going to validate his draft position, but a knee injury early in his career really derailed everything for him. His scoring 20 points per game on 55.1 percent shooting in five games this week was nice to see.

    Runner-up: Wes Johnson, Minnesota Timberwolves

I really like what Boston has done this off-season. I think swapping out Terry for Allen is an upgrade for them. Terry is a better player at this point in their careers, IMO, and he's better suited to play that 6th man role. Courtney Lee was a nice pickup. And, I like the additions of Melo and Sullinger to give them some size and depth in the paint.

I think Boston got better. Good enough to beat Miami? Probably not, but you never know. Especially if they can stay healthy.

They probably won't finish better than Chicago through 82 games, but come playoff time, I think they'll be the more dangerous team.

Minnesota signed AK 47 to a 2 year $20 M deal. What in the hell?

Only thing I think about when I hear about AK is that he gets a Hall Pass once a year.

    Me too, every single time.

I wonder if he waits till June every year to break up the time or if he rings in the new year with a bang ( Get it? )? He could go Dec 31 and Jan 1.

If he played by the "Chicago Bull's Challenge" rules he could pull off that maneuver and still be fine the remainder of the calendar year.

Played for CSKA Moscow last year and had a pretty good season. Team made it to the Euroleague Final Four.

With Howard to the Lakers, that makes 9 members of 2008 Team USA that will be playing in Miami, NY, and LA.
