You got it, though I'd put Carlisle, Karl, and Vogel ahead of Walton, probably not in that order.

League pass has eliminated most of the importance of a big city.

Fans aren't selecting the winner, and I'd argue that the League is much more interested in building star power in the biggest city in the country, on the backs of a guy that is already top 5 in the NBA in jersey sales.

ROY is Towns to lose at this point. He's clearly the front runner.

You could be right. I can't discount that. I'm an NBA junkie and Towns just seems to be a consensus right now with NBA media types.

Knicks had a chance to beat OKC last night without Melo and KP didn't touch the ball. They instead went to the reliable Aaron Afflalo turn-around jumper with a hand in his face. The Knicks are unwittingly preventing him from being ROY.

Fading away to his weak side against two defenders.

Should be Steph, but it will not be. CJ is a good alternative. Drummond is as well.

Until Drummond gets over 40% from the free throw line he shouldn't qualify for any awards.
