Reports are coming out that Walton and the Lakers have agreed to part ways after the season is over.

Might as well throw Rick P's name in the mix.

He always seemed overwhelmed in Cleveland.

Ha. That would be epic, but obviously not happening.

He was, but is also the perfect fit. Former Laker. And knows the LeDrama and that he is the fall guy for the King.

Monty Williams seems to be a serious name in contention for the gig. Would love to see that as he seems like an awesome dude.

29 franchises wouldn't entertain the thought but as long as LBJ is a GM, Lue has a shot.

Monty Williams would be a great choice for the Lakers but like said earlier I think that Ty Lue is the frontrunner for the job. I honestly wasnt impressed with him as the coach of the Cavs. The Lakers should even look at Mark Jackson as coach. I think he could do a good job with LeBron and get some quality players in there to play with LeBron.

I think Jackson would be great for LeBron. However, with Jackson it will be his way or the highway. Well, he might be sent off to the highway, but LeBron is not used to having a hard-nosed coach. He is normally the coach. That would not be the case in the Jackson scenario.

Coach will either be a puppet or someone LBJ respects enough, to let him coach.

Short list of guys he respects that much though, so it'll be a puppet hire.

Yesterday they made it appear that he had withdrawn due to them perhaps having some say in who was on his bench. Can't say I blame him.
