So maybe that is now changing. He has a head coach who wants to run the same offense as Golden State, since he was there when Kerr implented it. Now with James, Rondo, and Ball you have 3 guys who are smart basketball players and generally make the right basketball plays and move the ball. So it will be interesting if James adapts more to a new system to fit the players around him. Or if he ends up being Lebron James type offense again that is not as great for teammates.

Im very excited to see how it all plays out. Could be a very fun team to watch depending on the system they use.
All that matters is your first line. If you can't shoot as a team in today's NBA you can't win much.

This is just going to be interesting. I fully expect another superstar for Lakers. I've heard Leonard , Wall and Lillard mentioned. Without another star it will take another this past years playoff Lebron to get this roster to the playoffs.

I mean realistic trades, but yes they could.

If this team wants to run the GS offense, then they better find some more shooters. Would be kind of like running a "twin towers" offense with two 6'8 guys.

From what I have read they aren’t going to run a Golden State style offense anymore.

Yes, Golden State is loaded with shooters that make them look like a three point assassin squad at times. But their offense is built on ball movement, spacing (made easier with their shooters), and getting the ball to the rim. They lead the league in two-point FG percentage at the rim.

You will never ever match the shooter GS has so there is no point in trying to beat them at their own game. IMO you need a truly dominant center ala Shaq. Cousins is really the only guy that fits that mold currently. Force them to go big and not play a small lineup or get destroyed inside. You won’t beat them at their own game.

Oh crap, they have Cousins too. Good luck everyone.

Lonzo and Rondo will both average 10apg and LeBron will score his age. This season is just for fun. The process starts when Klay comes to town.
