Weren't you asking for them to sign him last night or earlier this morning? Had you seen something on twitter that had you thinking this might happen or is it just your lucky day?

Meeks has been rumored to LA for about a week or so.

Got ya, I've always liked the Lakers with Kobe but will have to watch more now that Meeks is in LA as well.

Nash, Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Howard - Meeks and Jamison off the bench. Jordan Hill is a serviceable backup for Howard.

I've always had respect for Kobe...he's the closest image to Jordan IMO. Great franchise. Love Magic and Kareem. Howard is a man among boys. And Jodie Meeks. Plus Maker's Mark...

I've never been a Laker fan and I'm not going to jump on their bandwagon but it would not upset me if they win now that they have Nash and Meeks.

I'm still not sure if they can win the West, let alone beat the Heat. Their starting lineup has a ton of mileage on it and Howard is no sure thing coming back from surgery...
