Jimmy Butler punks the Timberwolves in practice

This story is awesome. Is anyone following it?

Jimmy Butler showed up at practice today. He teamed up with the 3 string players and beat the starters and berated Wiggins, KAT and the GM today. Playground berated them. And then he went on Sportscenter in which he had a tell all interview. Folks are calling it a coordinated social media event.

    This is awesome.

It’s clear he wants out of Minnesota ASAP.

He may have hurt himself today. His trade value went down.

It caught my attention while I was at the gym, amazing story and I can't wait to read more about it in this thread.

From what I read he called Wiggins and Towns and then schooled them.

He was trying to prove how bad the T-Wolves need him.

You need to keep up with the story. He is trying to throw a bomb to the TWolves season, not ingratiate himself with the team.

I think he was proving that they can’t win without him while doing what he can to get them to ship him out of town. It’ll be interesting to see how KAT and Wiggins react. If they go out being soft and the TWolves suck this year that says more about them than Jimmy.

I disagree. He is looking like a bad teammate and trying to force the hand of management. Yes they do need him but he is not making headway in helping the team.

I believe I saw the TWolves o/u is 45. Hammer the under!

If I were not a huge TWolves fan this would be the greatest saga to follow in all of sports. Butler is a pest that meshes nowhere, and the chemistry makeup with Thibs and the Wolves was a horrible decision. Ready to get a trade done and move forward.

I’m going to the home opener next Friday and anxiously awaiting what I see. If Butler is in attendance that would be true gold.

Everyone knows they can’t win without him. Wiggins is and will remain soft. KAT did get passive with Butler in the picture and hope he gets back that strong spirit that drove him to the NBA.

For pure awkwardness I have to root for Butler to be there next week and be introduced as a starter.

Having Derrick Rose start in his place is the worst.

Do you think it is possible today could be a positive for them? Do you think it is fixable for the better?

Did you see the interview? If so, what did you think of it?

I was listening to a podcast about it and the hosts cracked a joke saying that Rose was probably practicing floaters on one of the side goals while Jimmy was talking smack to everybody.
