I had mixed emotions about them showing the parents the way they did. Folks can’t stand Lavar Ball and giving parents as much airtime as they did only increases the chances of more Lavar Ball’s bursting into the scene.

How old is she? I thought she was his girl friend at first.

    Why was she unhappy?

As NEERFAN stated he meant Mikal Bridges rather than Miles Bridges. Mikal's mom works for the 76ers organization so she was ecstatic that he was drafted by the 76ers and would get to stay in Philly. Basically as he was giving his press conference talking about how excited they were he was traded to the Suns.

Sounds like Diallo will end up with OKC.

Nice to wake up and see Ray Spalding was drafted #56 to the Sixers. Go Ray!

He was selected by Philly but was part of a trade to the Mavericks. Either way awesome to see him drafted. Dallas is rebuilding but they had a strong draft and are a good franchise to play for.

Ohh didn’t realize that - but agree about Dallas!

I believe she is the HR director for the 76ers

Never would have guessed that, especially when he came into college.

Maybe. However I think a lot of kids will also see how Balls antics may truly cost his two younger brothers. So they probably wont want their dads doing that. I wouldn't be surprised soon to see a possible argument between the younger brothers and their father.

LiAngelo didn't get drafted and apparently he thought he would at least be with the Lakers summer team and was told no to that too. I think the younger Ball brothers are going to see their dad and the antics he has brought us going to hurt their chances. Luckily for Lonzo he was already showing how good he was for teams to want him before his dad started his stuff.

His younger brothers may not get their chance to show it enough to where NBA teams would want to chance dealing with that. Hopefully that's not the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if their is a blow up in the Ball family soon. Or maybe Lavar just realizes he is hurting their chances now and becomes quiet like recently.

The thought never occurred to me that ‘Gelo or ‘Melo really wanted to hoop for a living. Lonzo and LaVar put them in a position where they’ll have the opportunities (and pressure) to acquiesce to Papa Bear’s wishes, but I think they both find different outlets. If their name is on it, people will check it out.

But the real issue around the whole Big Baller Brand comes down to the expectations placed on high school and college kids. We’re acting like if they don’t play in the NBA they’ve failed and that’s just not the reality. Here’s a list of siblings who have played in the NBA. You’ll notice it’s rather short, though admittedly longer than I expected.

Are the players at their new home in the NBA today? Going to be a hectic time for the next week or so as they find housing, meet with team, ect
Will be a happy time but stressful too. I am sure they will be enjoying every minute of it. Their lives have now changed forever.
They have all worked so hard and now are living their dream.

I love Lavar's outlandish style and make money above all else approach. My only problem is stories coming out about his treatment of his sick wife.
