100% agree. I was wondering as we have a very talented 5th grade school/AAU team and want to play some of the better 6th grade NKY teams in tourneys but not with the 29.5 ball.

    Conner won all 3.

6th game was close from what I heard.

7th was a larger double digit victory.

8th CC came back with some 3's but Colts still won by 9. 48-39 Colts

Beechwood travels to Bracken Co. tonight to face the Polar Bears. Beechwood 8th is looking to avenge their only loss in two years in league play.

Sorry Tiger fans - 6th grade Beechwood edged Highlands by 1- I guess the ending was a little crazy!

You had it right the first time. Highlands 6th beat Beechwood by 1pt.. I wasn't there yet but I heard there were a few head scratcher calls..

@raiderbird- thanks for clarifying, obviously I'm hearing second and third hand- It must have been a heck of a game regardless!

So...... Highlands won both 6th and 7th grade games over Beechwood but lost the 8th grade game? Correct?

Ockerman traveled to Woodland last night and swept the 3 games. All 3 games were VERY physical, refs let them play. Cole Shumate led 7th grade Ockerman with 14 points, all in the 2nd half. 8th grade game Ockerman was led by Parker Fields (10 pts 15 reb), Graves Fryman (10 points) and Austin Gemmer (10 points). Woodland 8th grade of course is not the same without the players who moved up, but they played well together and battled.
