Thast not a surprise to anyone that knows Girls basketball. North Bullitt's girls have started since they were freshman and 8th graders and this is the year they have been looking forward to for a few years now. They are a top 3-4 team in the 6th region.

North Bullitt Shortstop Shane Scroggin just committed to Morehead as well. Scroggin has missed the last 3 weeks with meningitis type symptoms. He is expected back this weekend for the L.I.T. tournament.

Jus found out Shortstop Shane Scroggin has been in hospital for 3 days and is still in. Hope this young man gets better. One of the parents said 4 kids are out.

Just read on another board that North Bullitt players have menengitis. Several players are in the hospital.

Oldham County took extra bases and ran when ahead by 20. They could have called off the dogs but didnt. Sort of glad to see Ohio County kick their butt the next day.

Did North Bullitt win that Tournament? How were they?

Same teams year in and year out. Hard to get votes because the coaches are asked to only vote for the top 10. Most coaches just vote on the programs that have been established. If you have a good team this year but havent been that good of a program in the past then you can forget getting votes.

What kind of field does Johnson Central have? is it nice?

How about North Bullitt's Brett Newton? At this time last year they were 1-8. Now they are 8-1 and play Bullitt East for the district championship tomorrow night. Newton is doing it with a deep sophomore class and a very talented freshmen running back. Super turnaround by Newton and his staff. They should be good for the next couple of years.
