The best thing for high level program that gets nailed is to hope that all the big time programs are named.

I mean at any door that someone from the outside can enter. That's their job, man the entrance door. The problem with SRO is they may be on the other side of the building dealing with an issue.

This will stop as soon as schools are no longer a barrel full of fish. I don't disagree with Metal detectors but without armed guards and complete control of all entrances its for nothing. Schools are easy targets and that has to stop. Any entrance to a school should have an armed guard stationed at it with at least a metal detector wand.

This dude walked in with a an AR15. It’s not like he had that in his sock. What was a metal detector going to do to stop that?

TGU is definitely something you want/must practice with light weight before going heavier. There are a lot of stabilizer muscles needed/required that most of us never really use. If you go to heavy to quick you are asking for injury.

I don't necessarily agree that their products are low quality though. The 700 is still one of the best most afforded rifles on the market. The 870 IMO is the standard in pump shotguns (although they've gotten pricey) and they offer some nice auto load shotgun models. They are a tad heavy and again I think over priced but I don't think they are poor quality. In short I think their shotguns are overpriced while the Remington 700 is hard to...

Hit 200lbs on my clean and jerk last night (power clean). My previous best was 210 (I believe) so getting close. Followed it up with: 3 rounds for time 21 Cal Row 15 Toes to Bar 9 Dumbbell Snatch, alternating hands, 55# Probably felt as good as I have in months with my cardio. Was able to push pretty had through the metcon and was really only limited by my capacity on the T2B.

Slow down. Auburn’s been good for about 2 mins. The SeC until this year has been terrible.

If you catch them running a sale, you can get some nice suits at Dillard's for $200-$300. Possibly less if really marked down. Kohls isn't bad if you want to go a little lower.

I agree. I don't think it was enough for silver but should have probably gotten 3rd. Cloe Kim just decimated the field.

I got into a "discussion" on facebook as to whether or not UT and UK are rivals in football. Of course they are in the sense they have history and are in the same conference. But my point was UK wasn't as much of a rival to UT fans as UT is to UK fans. UK getting handled for the better part of 3 decades has really killed it. I put them at best 3rd on the list of UT rivals and could make an argument they are as low as 5th.

I've looked at zone a little but seems to complicate it more than it needs to be. I've done paleo before and had great results from it. What I did was more after Rob Wolfe's program. He's hard core and I just couldn't stay on it. That whole live a little thing. Right now I'm doing a keto but cleaner than most keto plans I looked at.

I can agree with that. If your overall goal is just general fitness with some strength improvement Crossfit will work great. If you have a specific goal you want to achieve Crossfit may not be the right fit, at least not in the core sense of Crossfit. If you want to greatly improve your strength...squat, deadlift, press, bench, ect...you have to focus on a strength program. You can tailor a Crossfit program around that for condition but your...

I don't mind Castro. He can be jack donkey but I think overall he does an awesome job with the games. He's just comes off as not much of people person and arrogant. He's an ex navy seal so I guess it comes with the territory. Glassman is passionate about his business and has become more and more involved in what he considers health causes. He's stays enough out of the foreground of Crossfit anymore that I really never give him a thought. I...

I get the community aspect of it and enjoy it as well. In the end i'll probably keep signing up, just too dang competitive. With the burpees I changed the way I did them the last year and started stepping up. It's not as fast but if you have high volumes to do I can pace them better. It's also easier on the lower back. The snatch I don't switch in the air so it won't affect me. Again, it's a pacing thing. I tend to go out too hot so I try to...

The way the open has been trending is disappointing. It use to be light and all about engine. It's progressively gotten heavier and I fear that will continue. My goal at this point to complete the workouts RX. If a time comes I have to do any of the with the scaled option I won't sign up any more. I also don't like Castro changing the burpee standard. Just makes no sense and seems pointless given the fact that kipping pullups and hspu's are...

I completely misread that originally. I read it as squat, missed the clean part. That's a nice lift. 225 was always my goal of a squat clean. May make another run at this year. Currently sitting at 195. I can clean 205 but just can't quite catch it in the bottom, always lose it forward.
