Kevin Knox is an extremely impressive player! Gonna be fun to watch all these guys progress throughout the season.

That’s true. I suppose what I’m trying to say if the #1 and #2 teams in the nation are playing for their conference championship then they’re probably still the #1 and #2 teams in the country following the game, particularly if its a close game. The loser should get another opportunity in the final game of the season rather than teams that are not as good as them.

I’d rather see an 8 team playoff. As far as the discussion about Alabama and Georgia both not being able to make the playoff, well that’s probably correct. However, it shouldn’t be that way. The bottom line is the best two teams in the nation should play for the national championship regardless if both are in the same conference.

Thanks. Wasnít aware his contract was that strict in his favor. It sounds like the university agreed to a bad contract, for them anyway.

^ I agree with Jumper. I donít think think the Board needs anything for reason for firing other than to say their ďcauseĒ is based on the mess that Louisville is in and all the accumulated scandals that have occurred while Jerich was the boss. Whether he was in the know while all the scandals were happening is irrelevant. Sometimes the only cause a Board needs for termination is that they donít like the culture that has developed in certain...

Killing time waiting on the boss of the house. She likes to take her time at Walmart and whether she goes up every isle on the store Iím not sure but it sure seems that way.

Iíve bought one every year for as long as I can remember but decided not to purchase one this year. I took about an hour to thumb through it while the wife was Walmart shopping. The high school sections are riddled with mistakes. The headline for the girls 16th region states, ďElliott County shooting for 3 straight titles.Ē Then I scanned down the page to read about Elliott and discovered they had won only 3 games last year. Someone got the...

Unless he has some kind of solid evidence such as taped phone conversations or emails I don’t see how he can prove collusion. Without something like that he doesn’t have a case.

And they set the sham classes up for 18 years!!! I know UNC and their fans are happy with the ruling but deep down they’ve got to feel very ashamed and integrally dirty.

Where the NCAA missed was they took the wrong route in their conclusions. Instead, they should have said, “Your defense has some legal merit in that other students beside athletes were taking the paper courses and the NCAA does not have authority on what constitutes a grade or course credit. However, this body is still going to penalize you because you have broken the spirit of the law of what the NCAA wants to emphasis in the seriousness and...

I don’t follow recruiting as much as others but I don’t hear much about Baker being discussed. I thought everyone was talking about what a great shooting guard he is when he was recruited. I heard Rex Chapman say he was a similar shooter to Doran Lamb. But I realize there’s more to the game than just shooting. Does he have limitations other than shooting that will hold him back?

The NCAA can say what they want but if the basketball teams throughout those 20 years had not been implemented in these charges they would have thrown the book at the Tar Heels’ other programs a long time ago. Stripped titles and all. No amount of money or lawyers would have saved the lacrosse or soccer teams. Those minor sports programs need to give a huge Thank You to all the former basketball players that decided to enroll in the fake...

Running Down A Dream American Girl Cabin Down Below On a side note, I watched the four hour documentary on Tom Petty’s life and career on Netflix and he said in their early days the band went to L.A. with some demo tapes they had made. One of the first places they visited was called Playboy Recordings. They got an interview with the head honcho and told him they had demos. Petty said the guy listen to one song for 30 seconds and turned it...

They visited the Sag Hollow Golf Club in Booneville for their show back in August. We had a full house for the show. He interviewed our 97 year old mayor, Charles E. Long, for his "Hey Kentucky" TV show. The mayor has been in office since 1958, the longest serving mayor in US history. Mayor Long also had UK basketball tickets since 1950 but had to stop going to the games last year due to fear of falling.

Good point. However, there are many people that are simply prone to gravitate toward conspiracy theories regardless of the evidence. The biggie is the JFK assassination but there's also the Sandy Hook murders, the moon landings, Iluminati, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, chemtrails from planes, etc. It can be guaranteed that there's already a host of individuals gathering biased and fake information and creating a narrative of conspiracy in...

I’m sure a lot has changed in Vegas since I was there 40 years ago. However, food was one of the least costly items in the city in those days.

Double cheeseburger cost $26. I havent been been to Vegas since 1977 but when I was there the food at the hotels was inexpensive. Their reasoning back then was they were in the business of making money from gambling, not food.

I don’t think the suit will amount to anything for Higgins but the one good thing about it is he will now most definitely not be able to officiate another UK game due to conflict of interest. The dude has always been openly biased against Kentucky anytime he’s assigned to their games, which have usually been important ones in the NCAA tourney. In the lawsuit it says that UK had 19 fouls and UNC had 18. Lol, as if that’s suppose to prove how...

Could this be the end of open air concerts? Not that mass shootings havenít happened in arenas but security is much easier to manage indoors than outdoors.
