Tiger played so well and nearly pulled out the win that it stole some of the thunder from Brooks’ third major win. The aftermath discussions on the Golf Channel were more about Tiger than Brooks.

They have so much depth it’s going to be difficult to get them in foul trouble. I mean, he was subbing without any drop off. And this was without 6’11 Montgomery and Baker not playing.

They looked good in these 4 games but was the competition level a good measuring stick? They pretty much had their way throughout the games. I’m sure going up against high level college opponents will be much different. Gametime, would you give us your thoughts on what you’ve seen so far? I know you’ve been there and done that when it comes to evaluating talent and potential. You’ve been spot on with your evaluations of UK’s teams in...

$2.89 in Booneville (Owsley Co). It's always about 20-25 cents per gallon cheaper in the London-Barbourville-Pineville area. I don't know why but it always is.

Drew Franklin said he paid $28 for a breakfast and actually didn't order very much. The place is expensive for sure.

What's the odds of her doing this again? I'd say pretty good. A slap on the wrist doesn't deter in today's world.

I'm listening to one of the morning sports shows on the radio and they said although they were missing a few players they also picked up a player that was better than any they were missing. He mentioned his name but I couldn't hear what he said except that the guy was a load for UK to handle last night early on.

The game was already started when I turned it on with scores in single digits but I never saw him play a single second.

That ballroom ceiling looks low, possibly had an effect on their shooting. I think this team will be a good shooting team but they didnít show it from the arc, but I think that was an anomaly. Large UK crowd, first game even if it was an exhibition, and around 30 NBA scouts in the stands. The freshmen in particular were probably a little anxious.

His dad is on social media accusing the UK coaching staff of not taking the news very well and acting unprofessional. I find that hard to believe but due to NCAA restrictions the staff can’t comment or defend themselves due to him being a recruit. I can’t see them making a big issue about it, especially this type of decision by a 4 Star recruit.

I saw Tom Cruise’s latest Mission Impossible movie last night. It’s the best one of the 6 so far. Virtually non-stop action throughout the movie. It had a silly plot but in these kind of movies who really cares about that.

A friend was joking about his game to me several years back and said his game was so bad that to complete his golf bag arrangement he added a weed eater and a small chainsaw. Lol.

ĒThe Masters is generally the weakest field of all the majors. The US Open is generally considered the toughest test of golf year end and year out....Ē I would rank the 4 golf majors in this order: 1. US Open: the courses are set up so difficult with narrow fairways, deep rough, and greens as hard and fast as is legal (and sometimes unfair as they were at Chamberís Bay and this year at Shinnacock) 2. Masters: The only one played...

The Fed Ex Cup, because it would mean I’d be about $12,000,000 richer and probably Player of the Year.

The way this is written it appears to be for political power over the population by the use of religious doctrine. Thatís why some people feel the Bible is written by mortal men for political reasons and power. I donít know, but verses like this sure make it appear that way. Men saying whoever rebels against those in authority will bring Godís wrath, well....thatís pretty self serving and handy. The ancient Pharaohs did very well in their own...

I’m not saying “black people shouldn’t use it amongst themselves “. That’s a choice. But it would help to not give it a public platform in comedy routines, music and other formats. That’s just my opinion, nothing more. I don’t like the word and correct people when I hear them say it, which I’m glad to say isn’t needed too often. It’s not used in my social circle.

This word needs to die on the vine and be erased from everyone’s vocabulary. It needs to go. But everyone has to be on board with it, not just a few. Saying it’s different for blacks to use it than whites because it’s similar to a brotherhood/sisterhood thing is a poor excuse imo. It’s too offensive regardless of the context.

I suppose if I knew more about the game and it’s rules I would enjoy soccer but I can’t seem to get the hang of it. Our high school doesn’t have it as a sport and I ‘m sure that has helped other older generation types like me learn the game. I watched some of today’s championship game and I realize it’s by far the world’s most popular sport, but it’s about as boring to me as watching grass grow. I got a chuckle out of some comments I read...
