  1. I disagree. The "scouts" get information from coaching staffs at schools and vice versa. Going to a combine is a good way to put some proof out for them if you play in a lower tier football state like KY that is viewed as having an overall lower level of competiton. This is why you see kids with early hype not receiving offers and why sometimes a kid seems to come out of nowhere. I do agree that some of these "experts" are questionable.....coaches make the ultimate call and don't give a flip about stars.
  2. Slusher didn't take anything from anybody. Furthermore, it certainly isn't his fault if he was able to start over someone else. He was begged to play. His parents were asked. They wanted him and knew the consequences. If they gambled hoping he wouldn't get to go....their fault. I totally agree with this; however, I'm not much on Brent being blamed for something that isn't his fault.
  3. Slusher was asked to play last year after he returned from the AA in January and refused because it was so late and he didn't think it was fair. The TEAM and coaches asked him to play this year.
  4. Once again, he was asked to play after his plans were known. The team/staff made that call.
  5. Slusher told Coach Whitaker that he had every intention of leaving before he ever started playing. They wanted him to play as long as he could. Brent was upfront and everyone knew about it. He didn't just up and leave them.
  6. I hate to hear this. He's an athlete! Hope everything goes well and wish him luck and a speedy recovery.

  8. Thanks, Hounds82. Do you know if they are having the dunking contest this year and when?
  9. Could someone please post the CFIT complete schedule
  10. Slusher played basketball the whole season his sophomore year.
