And yet the climate changed. That's my point. The climate has changed before man was here, the climate will change wnem man is gone.

I don't disagree at all until it comes to the point of absurdity in the regulations that people and industries are expected to follow. I also have 'UGE issues when the loudest and shrillest voices expressing concern for man made global warming have the largest carbon footprints.

I believe that humans can do harm to the environment but I'm old enough to remember not to many years ago when we were heading for another ice age and that was "proven science". Excuse me if I take this "proven science" with a boulder of salt.

Some of the things that I hear people say influence college coaches make me chuckle. If you're good enough to play in college the coaches will find you.

Then why not investigate and eliminate both? I have zero issue with providers that knowingly defraud the system being prosecuted. I would argue that the 2000+ pages of ObamaCare and it's myriad regulations make it far more likely that there will be errors made (both intentional and mistakenly) on the administrative side then if the bill was simplified.

I think term limits are a Utopian ideal that will never happen. Once people gain power they will not relinquish it. Our very own John Yarmuth ran against incumbent Anne Northup saying it was likely the Dems would become the majority party, saying that he wanted to be a member of the majority party, this area needed a representative that was a member of the majority and that he had no interest in serving as a member of the minority party. The...

Big difference, the President can do this unilaterally. I may not agree with the particular pardons and commutations but Obama is 100% within the constitutional constraints of his office to do so. A Congressman or Senator can't unilaterally do anything and there's no way every member of Congress or every Senator will be term limited at the same time. Another way to look at it, maybe just maybe if a congressman or Senator is term limited...

But see under Obabmcare I DONT have coverage. I have to spend almost 5K out of pocket before my plan pays anything. That wasn't the case before this monstrosity. Has Obamacare had any adverse effect on you and your family? I would bet not. It's a whole lot easier to be in favor of something if your ox isn't being gored by it.

What do you profoundly disagree about, that I shouldn't have my plan back or that I should just shut up and take it? Does the FACT that Obamacare has been a disaster for millions of people who were happy with what they had before give you any pause or regret at all? The politicians that crafted and voted for this nightmare won't ever address that. Should I be happy that my "sacrifice" is helping others?

Let me have the plan that I had (you know, the one that Obama said I could keep) back. It worked for me and my situation, I'm 100% selfish on this issue. Obamacare has had an adverse effect on me. How many people are in the same boat as me? Are we just supposed to shut up and take it because it's better for someone else? I've gone from having a fairly good plan to essentially having major medical coverage only because of how much my...

MLK III said Lewis should try to work with Trump. If Trump should respect the dignity of his office and refrain from saying what millions of people think shouldn't the same hold true for Lewis?

You're not the only person who remembers that time. I lived in the west end until 1967. I admire what people like John Lewis did but what he did doesn't make him immune to criticism now.

Did John Lewis lie in his attack on the legitimacy of Trump's election? He said he had never missed an inauguration since his first election but apparently in 2001 he was absent. Does his status as a civil rights warrior give him a pass on telling the truth? Does he consider Hillary's nomination illegitimate since the DNC actively sabotaged Sanders' candidacy?

Successful people (wealthy) who have actually made their wealth by doing something like running a company are not fit to serve in government BUT Successful people (wealthy) that have been in "public service" their whole life (Clinton, Obama) or married money (Kerry, Pelossi) are.

Face the music, the Dems CAN'T stop any of Trumps nominations because they killed the filibuster for nominees. The mass executions, public floggings and gulags (maybe Bernie's home state will be our Siberia?) will be in operation January 21.
