Are you sure it wasn't 20mb? I think they have 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 300, and 1gig. I was looking the other day at this as I may be upgrading soon. The guys at work say how great the 1gig is, but that's overkill for me. The size depends on what you plan to do with it. My 20 works for me now as we don't do a ton of streaming, but as my kids are getting older, I know I'm going to have to upgrade. As for TV, as mentioned above, I also...

I don't think you'll ever see the requirement in baseball, unless they make something for pitchers. Softball corners can play so much closer to the batter than a baseball corner. I played a corner spot in baseball, and the closest I ever played to the batter was about 70'. In softball, they can be as close as 40', if not closer. The girls can hit, and these composite bats are hot. The ball comes flying off of them. I cringe every time I see a...

I noticed that too. I drive the opposite direction, and 275 east usually starts backing up between the Wlider and Taylor Mill exits. I get off at either KY 17 or Turkeyfoot and it's backed up as far as I can see.

Yes, they will jack it up after a year. I only have 20mb internet service. I got it for $35 per month a few years back. I'm now paying $65 for it.

No problem. We went down a few years ago and really enjoyed it. They've since added another sports complex or two, which could make things more crowded down there.

Just a fyi, but I was out at Ryle Friday night. Their games are $7 for adults as they still have a sign up at their ticket gate. I knew I paid $7 somewhere in the past, just couldn't remember where.

Something definitely changed with Pizza Hut over the years. Growing up, we always ate at the Pizza Hut in Erlanger. Their pan pizza was the best. Now, the only thing I'll eat from there are the breadsticks. For carry out, we always got Little Caesars. You got 2 pizzas on a piece of cardboard wrapped in a paper bag. I'm not a fan of their regular pizzas today, but their personal pan pizzas are pretty good. My favorite is Jets. They...

We ate at the new MacKenzie River in Crestview Hills. It was very good. I had the prosciutto and grape flatbread, daughter had the street tacos, wife had the MacKenzie River pizza, and the boys had the kid's pizza.

In NKY, it goes soccer, volleyball, basketball, and then softball for girls. A few years back, in Boone and Kenton counties, there were over 800 girls playing spring soccer compared to less than 200 playing softball, and that's not counting all the select soccer players. There were no select 8U softball teams at the time in either county. Softball is constantly going up against these sports, and it loses out more often than not. The support...

I believe the softball team finally got some uniforms this past year. Prior to that, the school gave them the old baseball uniforms to use. I don't think they get a lot of support.

The design of the interchange with those exits cause backups daily at rush hour. 275 East can back up to Mineola Pike and 275 West can back up close to Turkeyfoot at times. With the additional traffic on 275 due to this project, closing those ramps will ease some of the congestion merging onto 71/75 South from 275.

I thought I heard that they were taking the AA highway all the way down to 4th street, which would help traffic flow.

Erlanger exits are closed during the project to help with the flow of traffic. Due to the crappy design around those exits, there are daily backups during the afternoon rush hour.

Apparently it is being closed throughout the project to help with the flow of traffic. Maybe it's them admitting a crappy design at that location.

They're ruining sports, and they're the reason there is a shortage of umpires and referees. No one wants to put up with it. When I fill my rosters, I fill them based on the parent first, and then the kid. I'll pass on a kid that is a stud if mom and dad are a problem. I want a kid that wants to be there, regardless of skill level, with parents that are positive and supportive.

It all depends on the answer to the question, when released in 14 years, would he be turned over to a US government official? If so, that could be behind their reasoning of releasing him now. If they let him die in their possession, the US will eventually find out about it, even if it takes 14 years. By releasing him now, they can play the card that they released him when he was alive, and the US killed him as he was living in that same state...

Unfortunately, every league has that coach or two that crosses the line, and it's pathetic. As a league administrator, it's impossible to monitor every team and every game. However, if complaints are made, then the league should follow up. I know I've kicked out multiple coaches for cheating over the years.

I read yesterday that it could cause 20+ mile backups at times. I'm just glad I don't go that way to work daily. However, I'm not looking forward to the added traffic on 275. I can almost guarantee that there will be a couple accidents next week on 275 east prior to the 471 ramp. People not familiar with that route don't realize that the 471 ramp backs up onto 275. People fly up the hill, and they can't tell the lane is backed up until they...
