  1. Their top player IS David Johnson and he will be a senior this coming season!
  2. Rondale did not want to play. It was not a matter of 'Trinity' failing to get him to come out. He is currently not running track either.
  3. Injuries, youth and a tough schedule. They just got their center Feldkamp back and she is their only senior. They also have a transfer that will be eligible in early January and she will add some depth.
  4. I understand. And believe me, the offensive player(s) get way too much freedom when driving and minimal contact is made by the defender ( and a foul is called). I do love Coach Schooler (sp?). Love his enthusiasm!
  5. If hand checking is a foul, then the 5th foul on Price was definitely a foul. I feel he was lucky not to have the 1st one called on him as well. You can't ride a guy down the court bumping him when he is dribbling. That is not great guarding position and more times than not you will get called it.
  6. We had a patch work O- Line all year and many underclassmen were able to play. I believe we will have 7 of the 10 lineman back that played. But we do lose some big pieces. I believe X loses a lot as well.
  7. If Manual wanted to play, they should have agreed when the schedules were made in the Winter/ Spring when they were asked. Only wanting to play when you have a 'good' team is weak. If Manual has enough kids at the Freshmen level, they should want to play the best teams every year. I applaud Male and Fern Creek for playing T in both JV and Freshmen football.
  8. Sorry that some T fans had some negative things to say about your team. That does not represent all of the T fans on this site or in general. We are very appreciative that you guys stepped up to play and didn't cancel. Not many JCPS teams will play us, even local schools in 6A. Again, thanks for playing us. We have tremendous respect for your program and what you are building at the Creek!
  9. I also appreciate Fern Creek stepping up. They played hard and stayed positive the whole game. The Freshmen game will be played according to Fern Creek's AD.
  10. Very, very good. Outstanding defensively, very good offensively, big on the lines and they have good speed. QB West is very smart, elusive and accurate. Lots of playmakers on both sides. Still don't think they are as good as Quick and White's class in regards to 'stud' players, but deeper and more well rounded as a team.
  11. I still don't know if they could run a Mike Glaser offense against this Trinity D and be successful. They seem to only run the same 8-10 plays all game. I thought the reason Glaser 'retired' was because the X faithful were tired of his style of offense. I do agree that they do not have the personal to run the offense they are running now.
  12. Rocks dominated from beginning to end. St. X turned it over 4-5 times, had a punt blocked and returned for a TD, ( I think a fumble was returned for a TD as well), and x could not move the ball at all. T is good on both sides of the ball! Real Good! Kicker is unreal! D is nasty. QB West is elusive and smart (might need to throw a little sooner). X has size as usual, but QB's can't throw at all (right now). Again, T is very, very good.
  13. That 'best in recent memory X team' just got waxed by T's freshmen 37-7, and it wasn't even close!
  14. I thought that 1 of the reasons that the finals were moved to BG was because of the smaller, more intimate atmosphere? I know another reason was because UofL couldn't guarantee the first weekend in December to have PJCS available (don't know how that is true since they play UK on thanksgiving weekend. Commonwealth Stadium is bigger than PJCS now, but won't be once the expansion is done at PJCS. I wish the KHSAA would just come out and say that they want the State Championships in Lexington.
