One of the best games I've seen. Rockcastle's #20 lived up to his billing. #50 on the line was beast. Southwestern kept their focus and didn't quit. Congrats to Turpen on his record setting night. This is one my favorite Southwestern teams, there was such low expectations for these guys. But, they have come at each game as a TEAM ready to play. No quit in any of these guys. Congrats to Coach Girdler. Did an excellent job filling some big shoes last night. Go Warriors:banana:

Really nothing more. I don't know if Southwestern deserves a #11 ranking either, however there are a ton of kids returning not only at skill but line positions who are stronger, faster and more confident. They seem to be more "team" oriented as well. They have talent, coaching and showed some great "moments" during tournaments. Whether this will translate into a winning season is still a question mark. Scrimmages with Russell Co and Rock will help decide how high expectations could be for the year. I would rather we fly way under the radar for a while though! GO WARRIORS :banana:

I heard he transferred to Louisville, paying his own way this year; sitting out and hopes to take the field next year.

This is always a terrific match up. I think SW regroups this week with the lines receiving alot of love from coaching staff at practice. Players have got to wrap their heads around the "TEAM". SW Varsity scored 21 to Russell's 0 JV Russell Co 14 to SW 0 Fairly comfortable, no injuries either side.

Kick off is a less than 30 days and boy are we feeling the love already here in Pulaski Co! :jump: I like Southwestern in the Rock game, but know how tough it is going to be. The Warriors have some returning go to guys and some young guys stepping up, showing what they got. Most of what we need is some team work jelling. TT is demonstrating great leadership as are some others. Looking forward to their scrimmages to see how the TEAM works together. Somerset should easily handle Pulaski, but you never know with cross town rivalries. I don't have a dog in that race and like each team equally. GO WARRIORS:banana:
