Well, what I buy is more "regular" milk than what most people drink. I buy whole milk. It may be all in my head, but the whole organic milk has much better flavor than the jugs of whole milk. But the absolute BEST milk is the non-homogenized milk. That is as close as it gets to the milk I used to drink as a kid. My grandparents had a milk cow and we always had fresh, whole milk.

Exactly. I also buy whole milk, not that watery % stuff. When I can find it, I'll buy the non-homogenized milk. I LOVE that milk.

A friend from high school posted on Facebook today that she had finally heard from her oldest daughter who lives on St Croix and all were oK at her home. I cannot even imagine the utter horror of the last few weeks my friend has had to endure, knowing her daughter is in danger, then finding out she's safe, only to lose touch again a week later due to Maria.

No problem. I just don't want it thought that we are somehow eccentric or weird. It's just when I leave a situation that causes me anxiety, it is a physical and mental relief.

I will add, for all those who suffer from social anxiety, we aren't lacking in common sense, and the majority of us don't share our anxiety. Many of us are just those people who leave early from parties or the such, etc. My personal way of dealing with it that is most effective is making sure anything I do that is going to cause me anxiety is scheduled. I don't do last minute things. I just can't get myself mentally geared up.

Seriously. I have struggled all my life with it. I find the older I get, the less I want to fight against it.

I'll add that not getting the face time also seems to have kept myself and my team focused as well. When we have to communicate via email or the like, we are much more targeted in out communication. I get others have other needs. I will also add, I don't have very many friends that I socialize in person with either. But, I do have a lot of friends, weirdly. I am a task oriented person. And, really, human interaction causes me untold...

You have hit on one of the reasons I love working from home so much. I don't go to the office to socialize. IF I were to want to socialize with anyone I work with, I would do so outside of work. I hate when people stop by my area and think they should just chill out and spend up to an hour or more catching up on the weekend. Really? I have work to do. Makes me really irritated.

If you put a brownie (or a pan of them, or a platter...). I'll eat them all with no discrimination. I like caramel brownies, brownies with walnuts, brownies with....so....to answer the question, yes.

I work from home at least once a week, formally. I have one of "those" jobs though, so I do usually put in 4-6 hours on Saturdays and Sundays as well. I absolutely LOVE working from home. And I would be overjoyed to be able to work 5 days from home.

When my car was totaled, I had everything resolved and a new car within a few days. I've had 4 additional claims since then. 2 hit and runs and 2 deer. All handled ASAP. And I've not had any rate increases, somehow. I love my insurance company. I use Progressive and we have done the SnapShot program.

We complain all the time that insurance is a scam, not fair because the statistical pool pays for the bad eggs. And then insurance companies give us a way to prove we are better drivers than out statistical peers and earn discounts. And we complain then that they will know too much. Tough crowd.

What the hell did the people of Barbuda do? Puerto Rico? USVI? British Carribean? What about Guatamala? Are the fires out west the same?

Thank you. I'm home. I'm really worried about people in FL, though. Our hotel has opened itself up to evacuees. It's a 200+/night hotel and they are giving evacuees a 49/night rate. Employees are able to stay for free. They are preparing as well to be emergency shelter. At about 2:45 am, the line for check in ar Delta was about 100. By 3:45, about 600. Some people had no tickets. One lady with her mother, weeks old baby and a cat...
