I don't know how many times the Refs missed Pike Central taking too many steps. Lowe was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Pikeville's guards got mugged the whole entire game, getting a little forearm everytime they brought the ball up the floor. But, nevertheless, I was quite pleased with the effort Pikeville put forth in this game. It looked like a different team. But, you can still see the inexperience from some of the guards. I think the guards need to be stronger with the ball, and our big guys need to start making the easy buckets. I think Bart Williams is doing a heck of a job thus far this season, with what he has. If he could find a go to guy out there, then this team could make some noise come tourney time. Somebody needs to step up, and lead this team. We need to show teams that we can hit the open 15 footers. In my opinion if Pikeville would've capitalized on some of their easy shots, and not make so many soft passes, then the Panthers would have won tonight.

what about the robinson kid from pikeville, is he still playin?

Just because his stats were not as good as others does not mean he is not as deserving. His presence changed other offensive game plans. Example would be double teams.

Not very important, but at Pikeville they do not have a football banquet, the banquet is for all fall sports. Also, it seems that they were trying to improve the program the last few years when the Howards were there. Im sure Booher would never tell a player not to go out for football, esp when Ben was the head coach.

Pikeville wins in a close one, and has a rematch from 2 years ago with LC for the region championship.

I do not understand how Pikeville Independent is any different from Pike County schools. If you live in the city limits it does not mean you can not attend any of the county schools you wish.

I think Weston Robinson from Pikeville is one of the best, but his numbers aren't as great as some of the others, due to the new offense.

Yeah but even if he had a C average at RH maybe a C average isnt good enough to his mom.......and maybe she believes if he was in the proper grade he could do better
