I'd say they are just little weather impulses. There's just enough lift in the middle and upward parts of the atmosphere to cause these snow showers or flurries. Really not a big deal. Don't see much accumulation over a dusting happening. We had one here in Richmond an hour or so ago it's gone and the sun came out.

I hope I was able to help some out over this last winter weather event. This weekend we should get a break from the frigid temps. We can expect high temps from the mid-30s to low 40s on Saturday. Sunday high temps should rise some. Look for temps ranging from the mid-40s to low 50s with scattered showers possible Sunday afternoon. More widespread rain/showers will move in Kentucky on Monday. The break from the temps will end Monday evening as...

There is a Winter Weather Advisory out for Georgia but it is not like the one here. They are expecting from a dusting to an inch of snow in parts of northern and central Georgia. After you get through those parts of the state you should be ok. That is if you leave out today. Looks for temps in the high 60s to low 70s in Pampano Beach. Prayers for safe travel.

Hey, my friend. With this much snow and the cold temps tonight I think some of the roads will be slick in the morning. I don't know what time you plan to leave on your trip. Also now looks like an inch of snow in middle Georgia but I don't think will be a problem. High temps will be in the mid to upper teens tomorrow.

Thanks it was one of the slowest ones I can remember. Usually they are really known for the very cold temperatures after they pass. I just noticed that it wasn't moving as fast with each model run.

This first simulated radar is for tonight from 7 pm to 7 am ET. We can see the snow starting to get a little more organized around 7 am. The second one is for Tuesday from around 10 am to 7 pm ET. I want everyone to take note how the snow seems to regenerate again during the early afternoon around the I-75 corridor then moves southeastward through Kentucky. I think this is where the heavier possible snow accumulations will come from on...

I just checked to latest HRRR model run. For now just a trace of snow until around 9 pm tonight. Then you could have an inch of snow on the ground. The heaviest snow will be after midnight. Hope this helps.

Monday morning update. Here is the very latest data from the weather models. After this morning snow showers, the Clipper does indeed seem to be slowing down. Now it seems that the snow will linger until Tuesday afternoon. I'm still seeing a general 1-3 inches of snow for most of the state. The heaviest amounts seem to be in WKY which could possibly receive more than 3 inches. The following is the map from the NAM 3km. It shows 1-3" by...
