Im not taking personal shots at you but I am simply debating with you thats all. BUT You still have not adressed any of my questions. Even you admit that he should NOT be the ruler of Iraq, how then do that without force? Why not protest the person who is at fault here, Saddam? (which non of the previous protests, again organized by extreme leftist parties, have done. The protesting is or has been 95% a anit republican protest, masked in anti war feelings. Thats it. Otherwise people WOULD be protesting Saddam and anit war not Bush. How man signs have you seen that say NO SADDAM as compared to NO BUSH?????) How do you not know that we havent killed Bin Laden? Did you support all the peace keeping missions in the 90s? Lets say we continue to be a peace loving tree huggin (as you say)nation as we were under Clinton, and allow Saddam to mass more weapons and fund more terroist acts (like the killing of jews in the homeland), and then something again happens to America like Sept 11th, will you then be convinced that he should be removed? Or will another massacre of Americans not be enough to convince your bleeding heart, that sometimes there are bad people on this earth. And sometimes they need to be removed from this eart. Dont get me wrong, I do admire you willingness to love and be caring of others. But some people do not speak your great (seriously) language. Again, people like Saddam and Bin Laden do not speak your rational tongue. I admire and respect your views but they only work in a perfect world. Some people, no matter how much you try and love them, no matter how much you try and understand them, 1 will wish us harm, 2 will do harm to us 3 will do harm to others......no matter what.

Most of the protesters are protesting Bush, he is not at fault. Shouldnt they be protesting Saddam for not doing what the UN has demanded? How do you know that Bin-Laden is still alive? Saddam needs to be dealt with???????? Of course he does and do you think he will go peacefully? Of course not. You cannot use logic when talking about people like Bin Laden and Saddam. These people are radicals who do not listen to reason. Bush has done everything that has been asked. Its time to go in there and get him out. You people who are protesting also act like our aim is to kill as many innocent civilians as possible. Sure some will die and I promise he will use them as shields to make us look worse. But it is not our goal to kill innocent people. Perhaps we will lose some of our "patriots," but everyone of them JOINED the army knowing that might happen and willing to pay that price. That is why it is the greatest army in the world. Im sorry Rockmom, but their is no other way to do what you say we should do, then with force. Without struggle there is no progress. these people should be protesting Saddam not Bush. If war was all Bush wanted then he would have invaded a long time ago. He has done everything everyone has asked, including now going to the UN a SECOND time. Bush is not the problem, and that is what angers me about the protesters

the CIA training (as well as many of the weapons) was used to fight off our biggest enemy at the time, RUSSIA. Who can blame us for trying to stop the increase of their empire? None of that "knowledge" was used by Bin Laden on Sept 11. But the "ROOT" of the problem has very little to do with the US and goes back to before there ever was a US. Dont you think that it is rather odd that the people in that area have been fighting since records have been kept? Im sure that was Americas fault. The fact that America is the largest humanitarian aid to that area im sure is a reason why they use terror to maintain control, blow up grocery stores full of innocent people, take over planes and fly them into buildings and so on. The fact of the matter is, those people over there have NEVER known peace and dont know how to live next to someone who either A does not believe in the same God as your or B does not worship the same dictator as you. How many times in the history of the world have two democracies fought each other? The United States is a whipping stick and a lighting rod of hatred because we are an easy target. Are we perfect with our worldwide policy? no. But are we the reason why that area is in constant battle, NO! Its easy to blame us because we are the only superpower and are the world leader in so many things. And dont get me started with the whole Jewish Homeland issue. that is only a spoke in a larger wheel and who was around first, Abraham or Mohammed?

I heard this to be on the freshman and JV levels as well. I wonder whats going on over at X, if schools are boycotting them? No more Male vs X game would be bad on all levels, not to mention other great games. And why is it Manual has agreed to play Trinity and none of the other schools will? Is it perhaps because they have the backbone to play Trinity, despite the fact they may loose? Or is it, most public schools dont like Manual almost as much as they dont like Trinity, for the same reasons (the ypass, acceptance policy things like that) What about Male, what will they do, the Male X and Male Trinity games have been huge, no more of this? Its too bad, Ballard won on the freshman level two years ago, guess they wont have that chance anymore. Im also interested if this is just in football. Trinity (it being all thats wrong with high school sports) couldnt beat Eastern last night in Basketball. I bet they continue to play basketball, you know why, cause the public schools have a good chance at getting that game. THey wont take there ball and go home with basketball. But if they do, I will be the first to say I was wrong. This action by the JCPS is further proof of....well I just keep my mouth shut on that one.:fight:

I am a fan of a lot of schools, but I only claim to know a little about a few of them. I cant speak for X and I really shouldnt speak for Trinity but as far as I know, I know of no sunday practices or meets of any sort by Trinity. And as far as being expensive to travel out of state, that wont be a problem for Trinity and X. They traditionally travel better (more fans) so they get a bigger cut at the gate and are offered more just to come to games away. JCPS can go out and play the "good" schools but in the profit sports this almost never happens (exception of Oak Hill in basektball, which is a private school, every once and awhile). Why is that? Well because they, the best (as opposed to good) teams from other states want to play the best from this state and in the money sport that is Trinity and X (and Male here and there.) (ie. Elder, MBA, Moeller Cincy X, Ben Davis). Why would those teams play the mediocre teams that dont even bring a lot of fans to their games? They wouldnt. JCPS and LFCPS should take a long hard look at states like TN and how awful their football is down there since they split up the teams. Outside of like Riverdale, all the good teams are in the Private league. Then when all the national attention goes to X, Lex Cath and Trinity, it will make it even worse for the local public schools because the players will do even more to get there to get the national attention. Look at the Super 25 in football and basketball, the best go to the private schools for the most part. If you kick out Trinity and X, then they WILL start to give out athletic scholarships (i imagine) and then why would anyone go to a public school other than Manual???? If you kick out X and T then you really take the handcuffs off and the public schools will be a joke in jefferson co. I know a lot of people out there think this is arrogance but it isnt, its just a tail of what is to come if you kick out X and T. The only chance for the JCPS to have competitive and decent programs is to continue to fight X and T (on the field) on a regular basis. What happens if someone said to Mike Bush "since weve been kicked out by KHSAA, we gan give you an athletic scholarship. Now you can go to X or T and get the best education as well as play the best sports to get the most media attention get the best coaching for free simply because youre a great player." What do you think will happen? I hate to sound like the Ghost of KY High School Future, but it looks grim if this is the case for JCPS. Again, this is all JCPS im talking about not other counties.
