They should not, nor are they expected to win. You want them to come out and compete. If they lose, then so be it. But get wiped off the floor and the spiral may get out of control. Who knows? These are 19-20 year old fickle kids that we try and diagnose like they are adults.

The only thing that would keep him out of the NBA is if team Ball determines it is more lucrative to have Lonzo play in Lithuania on the BBB circuit. They can make it just fine there I suppose, but they all know their key to success is having Lonzo "ball" out in the NBA. If he is just another guy and never amounts to any more than that, then BBB will not amount to much.

This has the makings of IT going back to Sacramento and backing up Fox for another season before he calls it quits. Poor guy. One year ago people were talking max contract for IT.

Speaking of which, I am seeing the Lakers play this Thursday. Got tickets with the hopes of seeing Zo do his thing, and I am left with IT hobbling around getting blocked left and right.

If LeBron were to go the Lakers, I have no doubt Zo would be moved out as part of that deal.

Sounds like a good reason to get and stay in shape, and I don't mean round :D But yes, that is a concern.

Nothing particular. It is more challenging since more and more retail stores are going out of business. Where I live there is only one nice men's clothing store.

I am not knocking suits from JC Penny's, Men's Warehouse, etc. but there is a stark contrast in the quality and fit between those and a men's clothing store that does a custom suit. I can spot the difference in a second. I'm too vain to go with the value suit route and dress up frequently, but go with what you are comfortable with. A nice, traditional black suit can withstand the test of time and last you 10+ years. So there is value in it....

What’s the definition of insanity? I feel like Ole Miss has fielded the same team for 12 consecutive years under Kennedy. Staying at the “just ok” line of power conference schools.

"He just doesn't get it" sums it up best. I also think he felt the game would come much easier to him that it has, when to me it seems the game is moving faster than him. I also think he has the ability to one day have it click... not sure it will be in the next month, though.

I've had this same conversation multiple times. Obviously this is not an exact science, but all I can say is the college and pro games are so different from one another in how they are played and the speed at which they are played. We react to how they are playing in college, the NBA is looking at how their skill set will translate to the NBA game where it is much more about spacing.

I object! Their best non-conference win was a four point win at Murray State. Kidding, but it irks me everyday that the Racers couldn't bring home that game. Kudos to Auburn for going to Murray, btw.

I have no idea what you were saying the last two-thirds of you post, but these things generally manifest themselves when a regular season conference champion in a mid-major loses in their conference tournament. That’s on the respective conferences for saying how they select who goes to the big dance. And again, it is tough to compare if going 13-3 in the Summit League is more impressive than going 8-10 in the Big 12. But I do agree that we...

This. If all things were equal, then I would entertain the notion. Let’s take Missouri for example. Say they finish the SEC this year at 8-10 (they will be better than that, I know). But the last week they bring back Porter JR. And look like a top 10 team but lose a double OT thriller in the SEC finals to Auburn. And we we also know conferences aren’t the same strength.

I’m sorry, but I continually hear how he “loves his kids” as if that elevates him to a different class of father. Millions of dads love their children. I assume he loves his kids, but I also know he finds it acceptable to quit when the going gets tough and be misogynistic. That’s not opinion, that’s fact. If that makes the world a better place then don’t sign me up for his school of fathering.

I get the Alabama thing because they play every year, but traditionally I've thought of Florida as being their main nemesis.

"Rivals" has some subjectivity to it. UK is obviously not UT's competitive rival on the field, but most rivalries have a regional component to it and that is where this one falls. Make not mistake, UT fans love beating down UK on the field.

It was. The guys who were back from injury were not back in game shape. That's probably a better way of phrasing it.

Hedging bets already, I see. ;) A&M I assume is and should be favored, lost by a point at UK with a not-yet fully healthy squad, and you will now be shocked if they win in their house?

LeBron would have to waive his no trade clause. I think LeBron and Gilbert know this is it. Go for broke this year and call it a wrap.

I will believe they finish second in the East - as in the ECF - when it happens. Crossing my fingers it occurs, but when it comes down to it, I don't trust enough their competition. Toronto is practically tied now with the Celtics for home court.

The game was a hoot to watch.... maybe the most entertaining game of the season. Both teams were out of their minds shooting the ball, combining for 40 three pointers, an NBA record. KAT went 6-6 from behind the arc and has connected on 10 straight from deep.

I know many do not pay attention to him because he is in Utah, but Rodney Hood is frigging good. He always drops 25+ against Minnesota. I am in the camp that this greatly improves the Cavs roster. IT is a shell of himself and a distraction. He had a good season and a half and many thought he was an NBA superstar.
