  1. However I can relate to those two, the first time I did chain gang, I needed oxygen after running to midfield to measure a first down
  2. Bardstown has tradition, they have played a very tough schedule, and will be intimidated by no one in this class. They gave Danville all they wanted. Bardstown by 12
  3. Any score on Bardstown/ Warren central >
  4. I thought that NC's offense would be more potent, but to me very one dimensional, no passing game shown, but defense was better than expected. Bardstown, I hope will see in the game film that Ricky Harper is a very good running back, I was disappointed he didn't have more touches, he impressed me. Both teams have a lot of work to do if they want to go deep in playoffs. It was each first game, and it showed, wish both the best of luck
  5. Congrats to Holmes. Great year Bardstown.
  6. 28-20 is hardly handily Wireman, hats off to Fort Campbell, respect for Bardstown, best of luck to FC the rest of the way
  7. Wireman, I'm curious how you can add that Ft. Campbell will beat either of these teams "handily", there hasn't been anyone beat Bardstown handily all year, and they've played a tough schedule, by the way, were you at the Ft. Campbell/Warren east game ? I was at the Bardstown/Warren east game, that Bardstown almost won.
  8. I am a baby boomer like most on here I'm sure, I'm 50, so didn't see either of these two play, but after consulting with several senior citizens of the game, I have to think that Herby Phelps and Paul Hornung were by far the only two that could deserve the award. In high school, they'd be a toss up, overall, Hornung
  9. Bardstown will be a well tested and seasoned team by the time Danville rolls around, but the game is in Danville, at this time I have to give the nod to my Tigers, because of strength of schedule, and I hope of hunger for another state crown
  10. Luke Wimpsett will be a load by the time he's a senior, but he's gonna go thru the tough times for a couple years, he's hard nosed, will be good
  11. Bethlehem will not be a factor this year, 500 would be a great year, IMO, but likely will win 3 games, I don't know of any studs so far on this team, but in a few years, they could be tough
  12. I hope the pre- seaon hype is correct, but I don't see how you can lose a coach and a player of Wenquel Graves caliber easy to rebound to a # 1 pre season rating. B-town has a lot of players back, but a very tough schedule of much bigger non conference teams
  13. I agree Larry, I don't like this new alignment for that very reason. The worst thing that could have happened to Bardstown was winning so easily two weeks ago, and Bethlehem knew it. Like the other posts said, Bethlehem beat Bardstown last night, no doubt about that, but Bardstown didn't show up with the same team last night, possibly because of the results two weeks ago. Bethlehem plays with alot of heart, and they have a couple D1 players that are loving this Rodney Dangerfield lack of respect. Danville better score alot quickly, because if you let BHS hang around, you'll be seeing a little catholic school moving on, these guys are keeping there mouths shut, and are playing with nothing to lose, they won't back down.
  14. I think Williams will be a big plus for Bethlehem, but I also think that a dry field will be a plus for Bardstown's speed, although Jackson has some wheels of his own. It's at Bardstown, not as bad as last time, but Bardstown tradition wins by 21
