  1. Bull. Sorry Mr. Network, and I sincerely hope I am right about this, but I think you are now in on the biggest April Fools Joke ever. We shall see; if this is indeed true, this thread will be closed, and BGP itself may be gone, as I cannot see Guru allowing it to continue after such a tragedy. Personally, and I hope I'm right, I think the whole thing is one bad joke. An "A" for effort, but an "F" for content.
  2. Sorry folks, I will have to see Guru in a cheerleader uni before I believe this. On second thought, never mind. I'd rather not know than have to see that !!!
  3. While we are confessing, I must tell you all I am really......... ARETHA FRANKLIN !!!!
  4. Will it not hurt the terrorists when they loose their most powerful commrade? A lot of what you said makes sense, but I have to take exception with this point. I think we would deal a huge blow to Al-Quada by removing Saddam and anyone else who might be aiding/financing them.
  5. Just because we have not declared war does not mean we are not at war. Whether you want to believe it or not Saddam and Osama have been at war with us for a long time. It must just be like icing on the cake for them to wake each morning to find the enemy (US) still sleeping. Call it what you want to, we ARE at war. The tragedy will be realized when it is too late for many. It is time for this nation to rise to the threat presented by these madmen. When will it be enough? How many sons and daughters must die before the protesters realize THIS IS FOR REAL, AND IT IS NOW? If your basement floods do you wait until your head is underwater to take action? We are already at war ! I for one am opposed to the "OSTRICH" defense. This threat will not go away, that is for sure.
  6. The lesser known commandment number 11: "Thou shalt not mess with the GURU, lest ye be humbled." You got me, and now I realize what it might be like to be in a fist-fight and have no arms. :bunny:
  7. The biggest kick I got out of it was seeing GURU listed as "Junior Varsity" on the yappi site ! hehe
  8. Is there an echo in here? I must agree on 3 of the stadiums previously reported on here. Having played my home games at PUTNAM STADIUM I am somewhat biased, but that place really gets your blood pumping. The 4th quarter agianst Boyd last week was a perfect example: the 'Cats scored 29 second half points and each time they scored, that great big cannon went off, sending chills up my spine and a big cloud of smoke into the air, which lingered seemingly forever and gave the field an almost surreal appearance. Putnam is a MUST SEE!!! :ylsuper: Other than that, both Portsmouth and Ironton are worth the drive to see their historic venue's, although it seems I always end up leaving there sad.:irked:
