Central seems down from last 2 years. They graduated over 20 players, but who they really seem to be missing is WR/Punter Ukari Baker. Vs Fern Creek last 2 years Baker would extend so many drives big catches on 3rd and long. And was a solid punter. Kicker Reggie Whyte has a great name and is a good kicker/punter but is lineman sized and not athletic enough to make something happen when punt snap goes awry. Central is still a good team,...

It actually could have been worse. Central got the ball first and drove down a 12 play 87 yard drive, Dayshawn Mucker scores 4 yard run, Jeremiah Thornton runs in the conversion to make it 8-0 Central. Fern Creek Answers with their own 7 play 66 yard drive. Terrance Mitchell scores on a 6 yard run but a holding penalty backs the Tigers up to 16, and Mitchell scores this one counts 16 yards. Zach Beck kicks the point,Central leads. 8-7. ...

Somerset’s little kid field is awesome. Years ago when I was working with the Louisville Bulls a bunch of the players kids would play games behind the bleachers or wherever there was room (we played lots of places). The kid that organized the games was none other than PRP Head Coach Tommy Williams. Tommy’s Dad and Uncle played then later Tommy and his brother Josh p,aged for the Bulls.

I like a lot of these, I am partial to the hand painted ones, although I don’t help much anymore with the paint crew, I have put in my time at Southern, Atherton, Manual, and Fern Creek. Fairdale does the same Bulldog as Holmes but painted on grass with a stencil. Bryan Station wins the biggest, Longest award. I love Danville’s incorporating the state outline and their anchor

Who has the best midfield logos? Fern Creek uses the Tiger Eye (LSU). While it isnít original it is hand painted with an aerosol wand no template. Former Defensive Coordinator Don Hillerich retired from coaching but still paints it. He goes out with a picture on a sheet of paper and starts in the middle with the pupil of the eye and works his way out. Usually takes him about 1.5-2 hours. Here is a aerial shot taken from a drone before the...

I’d brush on some olive oil and a good shaking of Weber Kickin Chicken. Grill it up and usually don’t even need a sauce the kickin chicken does it good

I get these huge potatoes from Sams Club and bake them in the smoker along with the ribs. The potatoes come in a 15 lb sack and usually 12-13 potatoes so over a pound each. I just wash them down and coat with olive oil and sea salt, bake in foiled. And baked beans, I usually doctor Bush’s original by adding some Bbq sauce, and leftover brisket trimmings. I also like corn on the cob, I soak mine in husks on in water for an hour then leave...
