In Wikipedia for the song "Fat Bottomed Girls" it says that Queen performed it live from 1978-1982 not counting more recently with Adam Lambert. Here's Freddie's look in in '77 during the News of the World tour... And here's his look in '80 during the tour for The Game...

Saw it... Loved it. Sometimes I forgot that I was watching an actor and not the real Mercury. It moved along where I was captivated the entire time, and it had its emotional moments that really moved me. With that said, as a band/music timeline purist, there were two timeline issues that stood out to me. First one: When they were first touring the states around 1974 they showed them on stage where they said "We love you Atlanta"...

Hmmm good question... I know my share of complete songs, but off the top of my head I can't quickly think of many that I'm 100% sure that I know all the way through, and if I was in a panic to come up with one on the spot I think I'd go with "Colour My World" by Chicago as it's literally just one verse and no chorus. I know for certain that I know every word, and there's no chance at all that I'd screw it up. "Colour My World" As time...

I'm feeling that the timing with Hue Jackson returning helps the team shift, refocus, and more easily put last week's embarrassment with the Saints behind them, but still not expecting such a turnaround that has fans feeling more confident by game's end. Not thrilled with key elements being out with injuries yet the Ravens have their issues too. It is what it is, and they'll just have to go with what they've got. I'm smelling a close,...

Sure this team's gonna look a little different from the recent past, but If I were a Jags fan I can't see much to worry about. My gut tells me that they will be tough as nails. Sully has a proven track record of getting the best out of his players. It's step up time for the next guys up, and I think there's more than enough ample strength and maturity ready to take on the task. I think that they handle every team in the region not named...

That might've been cool just to mix things up from the ordinary same old same old school day. Years from now the kids will be talking about their one school day in the dark. Bet that cell phone flashlights were glowing all over the place. I suppose there might be some with reasons to disapprove, and say that school should've been cancelled, and they might have legitimate concerns, but I've not heard that anything tragic came from it all. Who...

In the video around the 1:27 mark they say that there was an uncalled foul in the previous play where the guy missed a 3-point attempt badly which might've frustrated him. I can't see any foul, but even if there was one it's no excuse to do what he did. Anybody see a foul in that play?:idunno: Also, I just can't side with the various goofballs in the video who seem to think that it's just part of the game and that's just the way it goes....

AND THEN THERE WERE TWO!!! Whew....we're almost there....can you believe it? It's sad to see you go but, we'll have to say goodbye to 2-3-Zone Jumper_Dad and HSfootballfan18 Y'all really hung tough, and did a great job week after week. Feeling bad for HSfootballfan18 especially because who would have imaged that the Patriots would fall to the Titans, and by such a wide margin? Thanks again everyone for playing...:thumb:

Great job PP1 :thumb: Year after year I look forward to this 9th Region preview, and you did not disappoint. Can't wait for another exciting season of basketball! For the record Covington Latin doesn't have a gym... at least not one that I'm aware of. I really don't even know for sure where they play their home games. Normally they only schedule a couple of home games a season. I do recall that many many years ago they held a handful of...

IMO it will give Newport a much better chance to contend with the likes of CovCath and Cooper, yet even with Harding I still believe that these two teams are still clearly the top dogs in the region. I said in another thread that I believe that with Harding it gives Newport a much fairer chance of being a region dark horse, but I don't believe that they can yet be considered on the same level as the Colonels, or the Jags. With that said,...

There's been a little shake up this week as we have arrived to the Fab Five who are Still Alive in their quest to reign supreme in the Losers Only Survivor Pool. We'll have to say goodbye to DragonFire and 8th Region Warrior who both took the Cowboys this week, but you have nothing to hang your heads about as you both hung tough all this time like true champs. Thanks again for playing and march on with your heads up high like the real...

Perhaps not on the level as CovCath and Cooper, but Harding definitely makes an already pretty talented Wildcat team a whole lot better. His strength, maturity, and rebounding dominance is a game changer for sure, and would give them a much fairer chance at being a legit 9th Region dark horse. For Newport's sake I sincerely hope that word of his return is accurate. I for one was disappointed to hear that he had transferred as I was really...

He will pop indeed. What I saw of him last season leading the JV team he's an incredibly poised, talented, and smart point guard with much needed leadership skills. He occasionally got some valuable varsity minutes last season too, so that's also a plus that he's already been in those shoes. With that said, I'm anxious to see what other promising ball handlers there are for the Colonels ready to step up if called upon. Someone more in...

If true this is fantastic news. Taking nothing away from the talent that they have, but when I heard that Harding would be leaving my enthusiasm for them sank significantly. He's such a strong mature player that would have such an incredible impact on their success. Wow I do hope that this true because if so Christmas just came early for the Wildcats.

You are correct as Cooper's roster for last season has Spencer listed as a Jr., making him a Sr. this season. I goofed when I made my list. Hopefully I didn't list anything else here incorrectly. :banghead:

I see in 5A while 3 teams (Anderson Co, South Warren, and Covington Catholic) all ended the regular season undefeated with 10-0 records, only Anderson Co. was awarded the bye week. There are 31 teams in the 5A playoffs, and I understand that to make it work someone had to have the bye, but how was it determined that it would be Anderson Co. and not South Warren or CovCath?

TMI ALERT :lol2: When I was 16 I might've been pushing it a bit, but I went around door-to-door getting a ton of candy then hooked up with my riff-raff friends where we snuck a 12-pack into the woods. We didn't get too far with that before the cops arrived to make us pour it all out. Thankfully that was the worst of the trouble, and they didn't make a bigger deal of it. The real kicker to the whole story was that my last minute...

Good call on Fleek as I think he'll have quite a big year, and I agree that Houston is also Top 10 material as well. I wasn't actually pushing for Spencer to be considered Top 10 but still I believe that he's a hair ahead of Mayer, and under different tutelage will have the chance to blossom more than what his opportunities were previously. Taking nothing away from Mayer, still I think that he'll be a beast. Really looking forward to...

Hmmm...maybe in football, and while he'll definitely be a force to reckon with on the hardwood as he'll crowd the interior with his presence, and muscle down many rebounds, and be highly effective on "D" (as long as he can stay out of foul trouble), I see Spencer as a more versatile player with more tools in his box to work with. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. If I prove to be incorrect about this, I'll just say now that I...
