I donít have a rooting interest in this fight other than Jameis, but despite his INT issues there is no chance Iíd ever take Kaep over him. Jameis is six years younger. Heís played 24 less games and nearly thrown for as many yards as Kaep already. Jameisís worst passing yardage for a season is better than Colinís best - and thatís in a year where Jameis played 13 games vs Kaepís best where he played 16. Kaep isnít making up nearly enough ground...

Best of luck to Diallo. I don’t know what he could’ve done for himself by staying, but I highly doubt he is drafted in the first round. I wouldn’t be shocked to never see him out of the G-League

It'll be tough to get him in the exact right situation because of what he'll likely demand salary-wise, but Dez as a #2 receiver on a team with a very good QB would be incredible. Like HB20 said, Dak's style didn't really fit Dez.

Aw man, I hate that. Funnily enough while Full Metal Jacket is obviously his most memorable role, I always had soft spots for his role in Saving Silverman and Fletch Lives.

There is almost no limit to the amount of movie quotes I will slip into conversation, so I echo CWB that my friends and wife would likely be able to tell you better than me which ones I use most often. I do know that there are many Simpsons quotes that I've borderline forgotten were quotes at all that I use. I've said "Everything's coming up Milhouse" so many times that I forgot despite the fact there's a character name in the statement.

I was starting to get hopeful early on that the Avs might be able to pull it out. It’s hard having Nashville play the Avs in the first round. I hate rooting against the Preds.

100%. I still have some nightmares with Michael Myers involved. Also, A Nightmare on Elm Street. I hadn’t even seen it, just looked at the box in the rental store. Knowing the concept was enough. Plus, there was a striped blanket in my closet that looked just like his shirt.

I say no, but Iím quite biased against it anyway. Ultimately, in general Iím not certain social media has been fantastic for our world in general. It really depends on the type. Iíve always loved forums, which allow for longform discourse. Facebook and others have a much higher incidence of echo chambering. Facebookís greatest sin comes in manipulating what is higher on your feed, or hidden altogether.

Between him and his son coming, that’s a high quality acquisition for the Purples. They have a lot of talent in their current freshman class. May be geared for a real run in 2019 and 2020.

It is definitely rare to see an incumbent lose, especially in the presidency. It's only happened the one time since Carter. But I think Trump is likely the most divisive candidate put out there in a long, long time. But I've been blatantly wrong before. I remain shocked to this day that GWB was re-elected.

Has to start somewhere. It may not make a major difference in a decade, but eventually, you erode the two party system, even if it isn't just a single third party. It takes years to undo years of mistakes.

With the political situation - I'm just tired. Very, very tired. I've said it before on here - and it's been said in what I've read in this thread - but this country needs a third party in the worst way. We at least need to take steps in that direction, both at local and federal levels. Don't give these clowns your vote because a D or an R is slapped in front of their name. Yes, initially, it is little more than a protest vote. And I am all...

You really think so? I just don't see how. I was flabbergasted he won the last election, and that unique cocktail of circumstances seems unlikely to happen again. The Supreme Court issue was an urgent one, and one that many pinched their nose about. He'd need that type of issue to come up again too.

Villanova has already tied a Final Four record with 13 threes in a game. And it's the first half.

I echo Jack, that the most important thing for Central is to continue to build up the numbers in the program. They need to continue to make measurable progress in ways that don't necessarily mean wins on the field. Next year I'd estimate they have two opportunities - at Greenwood and at Monroe County. Perhaps they have a chance at Allen County-Scottsville as well. I'm not certain they'll win any of them, but I do think they have a realistic...

Accelerated the issue, for sure. I don’t believe Rogers leaves when he does if South Warren hadn’t already been eroding the feeders, in which case they don’t have the coaching issue. But firing two coaches was pure idiocy. They are definitely culpable for that.

Well gee, I sure hope not. We sure could use a break over here from guys with prior varsity experience turning up in Purple and Gold. It'll just cement further my belief they're going to run this region for the next three years.

That’s a little surprising. If that’s purer for on the court performance, then it’s a very interesting move. He’s been there the better part of a decade and they have usually met or exceeded expectations. In this time where it is becoming increasingly harder to find people who want to coach and harder still to find people who will stick around for any meaningful length of time, it’s a bold move.

My bracket is in ridiculous shambles, but I did pick Kansas to win in most of them. It's basically the only smart pick I made.

That's correct. They've been a #1 seed 13 times. They've made the Final Four seven times when they get that seed. They've failed to make it twelve straight times when any other seed. They made the Final Four five times between 1988 and 1994 when they were below a 1 seed, but those are the only times.
