These are the ones we have to win. I hope that Pitt game doesn't come back to haunt us. Come February, the schedule gets nasty.

I think it's him too, but a part of me thought I heard David Hasselhoff when he started singing last night.

Lots of big swings in this one. Something of a pattern. Down 15 in the first half. Back to take a 10 point halftime lead. Get up by 23 in the second. Let BC get back to within 5. Frustrating at times.

I honestly don't know. Last year was such a complete and total meltdown on the part of basically everyone associated with the program that I really don't know where we stand.

If they can find a way to 6-6 with this schedule after what happened last year, I'll be over the moon with delight. As of now, I don't see where they get six.

As a fan who lives out of town, that's a near perfect schedule. That Monday night game against the Irish is going to be a pain for travel, but ELEVEN Saturday games is fantastic.

I was on the short side of those early ones but a lot of the later ones I was a little surprised to find how many I went for more syllables.

I'm thrilled Big Monday is back. That ACC game at 7 pm (that used to be the Big East game at 7 pm) is almost always must-watch for me.

First Louisville road win over a top-15 team since 2014. Louisville had fallen into a comfortable rhythm of beating teams they were supposed to beat and never surprising anyone in recent seasons. Michigan State and UNC are the types of games we just hadn’t been able to put away.

The way they started was everything. Wednesday at the Under 12 time-out, Louisville was down by 15. Today they were up by 10. Somewhere in between Wednesday and today is the Louisville we’ve watched all year.

Double-doubles for both Sutton and Enoch. Louisville absolutely hammered that small UNC lineup. Enoch couldn’t have looked any better in comparison to his poor performance at Pitt. I really can’t wrap my head around what I just saw.

Lol. How am I supposed to reconcile this with how awful they looked against Pitt on Wednesday? First 20-point loss suffered by UNC since 2002.

In Ohio they punched a hole through my old one to show it was no good then printed out a piece of paper that functioned as a temporary ID. They handed them both back to me and said I had to carry both with me all the time until my new one came in the mail.

It's going to be the same in Kentucky after the rollout. Don't know the process, but it can't be done immediately, whatever it is.

Yeah it's a weird one, especially with the Louisville rebuild and two of this year's playoff participants on the Cardinals' schedule for 2019. Maybe the combination of all the Wildcats lose defensively and what should be -- despite Clemson and Notre Dame -- a less rigorous top-to-bottom schedule for the Cardinals add up to better odds on Louisville.

I have Ohio's verified ID and the security measures taken on it compared to the classic KY license I had earlier this year are remarkable. It's vastly more detailed and I see why they're making such a big deal out of them.

My big concern on McMahon is that he really didn't get into the game until a Miami team with a short bench started playing a soft zone to avoid foul trouble in the second half. If not for that, they could have continued to take him out of the game. We'll see what happens long term and I was again impressed with this team's ability to battle through when things got tough (thinking of the Michigan State and Seton Hall games), but the way UK...

Louisville City FC midfielder Niall McCabe is auctioning off a signed jersey to benefit a fund set up for Det. Mengedoht's son. It's been up a day and the bidding is over $1,000 already and will continue into next week. McCabe is, I believe, one of the last two Lou City players that's been with the team ever since the beginning (GK Greg Ranjitsingh). He's an Irishman who'd never even been to Kentucky before coming to play for the team but...

Paco Craig has re-signed for Louisville City. HUGE. The guy has been an all-League defender and was a huge part of the title run. Could still get picked up for a bigger deal somewhere during camps, but Louisville has him under contract. Also recently added longtime USL veteran and Trinity High School alum Sunny Jane to the roster. Played overseas last year, but was most recently with Richmond Kickers, I believe.

Dennison and Field coming into the fold will be an instant boon to recruiting. Long-standing ties both locally and in the region.

Louisville football coach Scott Satterfield is about to add two more new assistants to his ranks. Not official yet, but being reported everywhere. Cort Dennison is returning from Oregon to be co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Stephen Field was Oregon's recruiting coordinator last season. Both men were previously at UofL under Petrino... and despite that I'm actually excited to see them. They were very good at their jobs while...

Yeah. It was fine. Maybe it’s just bad luck that it gets compared to A Quiet Place, but there’s no way around it and yeah, A Quiet Place was better.

I hope not. The four non-conference games has allowed Louisville the schedule freedom to put a perennially good G5 on the schedule as well as UK. Three non-conference games starts to tighten the schedule. In years we have ND on the rotation, we'd be down to one non-conference game to schedule.

Diners are increasingly moving away from the casual chains that were the bread and butter of developments like that throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. It's put a hurt on places like that with rents that usually exceed what small, independent restaurateurs or retailers are willing to pay. Fourth Street Live in Louisville has a devil of a time keeping places around with the way their rents are structured. Recently made a push to get local...
