I just looked at it. The list was put together more than a year ago, when the plot for Captain Marvel could only be speculated about by the public. Probably time for an update.

All of them except The Incredible Hulk and Ant-Man and The Wasp. At this point I'm not worried about Hulk, but I'll remedy Ant-Man before I see Endgame.

O Canada, what happened to your teams? Game 6 felt pivotal as it was happening, and it panned out exactly that way. Boston was not going to be denied in a game seven at home. Failing to close this out at home on Sunday was doom for Toronto. The Leafs spent a shocking amount of money on John Tavares and until that lone goal last night, was all but silent in this series. Had one goal and a couple assists in the first six games.

It's a shame this all took place at about 12:30 am Eastern time. Would've been something to watch. :lol2: Another great series that followed up last year's gem. Looking forward to Sharks/Avs.

He has a great mind for football and the program will miss him. As an alum of the school who saw he also had a great mind for teaching and classroom instruction, he'll be a real loss in the hallways. As someone who lives in Cincinnati these days, I'm excited to see what he can cook up at St. X.

This series seems to have been awesome, but I think every game was at 10 pm Eastern and so I haven't seen a single one. Looking forward to reading who's headed to the West semis the next morning. They played a doozy of a series last year too. Developing into a nice little thing out West.

Getslow replied to a thread Non Coffee Drinkers in BGP Break Room
This is it. The other folks in my office will laugh on occasion because I'll just be making coffee at random times through the day. I don't drink a whole pot, but two cups in the morning and another two in the afternoon isn't unusual. We're talking normal coffee mug size cups, not some enormous gas station carryout, but it's a solid four cups almost every day.

Because I got high, because I got high, because I got hiiiiiiigh. ... yeah no plans. Heading home to Louisville for the weekend. My sister is coming in from Kansas City with her family. That's it.

I guess the archbishop has said that the three rose windows from the 13th century have been preserved. Early reports was that the heat blew them out. That would be great news as those are absolutely irreplaceable.

Agreed. It's why I can watch the tennis majors despite hours of tennis usually boring the pants off me. I think baseball can be like that too. While there's obviously more to it, at its most fundamental, that game is pitcher vs. batter. And watching one great player try to gain the slightest advantage over the other in that showdown can be unbelievable theater when something significant is on the line. And seeing it finally go one way or the...

Everything in Season 4 with them traveling together was pure gold. The scene where they go to the little tavern and find the Lannister soldiers that set on them a couple seasons before and took Needle from her... that was just a glimpse at how cold-blooded that little girl was going to get.

Absolutely irreplaceable. Luckily it doesn't appear there are going to be any significant injuries, but the world has lost a cultural treasure forever, and that makes me a little sad. A piece of the world is gone that can never come back. Some of the elements -- like the spire -- are newer (about 150 years ago I think), but all that stained glass that's now blown out all over the sidewalk is eight centuries old. I don't even know if there's...

Made me think of that line from David Duval about the young guys on tour saying that they wished they'd seen Tiger in his prime: "The hell you do." They learned this week. And this wasn't even his prime.

In the old days, libraries were practically gatekeepers for knowledge as it was expensive to gather and maintain. Now, libraries might be the best floodgates we have to hold back a lot of the nonsense out there. The best librarians are masterful curators of information that can point students toward useful sources and away from the frivolous.

I remember doing what my teacher called "what percent?" problems in high school algebra. Those are phenomenally easy for me now. I recently applied to refinance my remaining student loans and being able to calculate the interest based on the numbers in front of me made that process so much easier. Student loans may not be the best example because you're usually starting with interest rate and going forward, but when looking at a budget and...

Just read an article from the Dispatch and the entire focus was about Bobrovsky turning it around with a stop less than 30 seconds into the second period that looked like it was going to be goal number four for the Lightning. He settled in and shut it down the rest of the game. So much of playoff hockey is about your goalie getting into the zone at the right times. Hopefully for Tampa Bay's sake it was a one-time thing.

Grad transfer PG Lamarr Kimble will suit up for the Cardinals next year after a transfer from St. Joseph's. Answers a huge question for Louisville as it was Darius Perry and then a whole lot of who knows at point next year. Mack needed a PG transfer and he's got one. I don't know if he can be as instrumental as Cunningham was this season, but even half that and it will be enormously helpful for Louisville.

I'd happily take six more of these. I didn't realize this was the first time the Islanders started a playoff series at home in more than 30 years. I guess I had forgotten just how bad things were out there at Nassau for a lot of those years.

Switched channels to the Pens/Isles game after the first period. I clearly should've tuned back in. Flipped back after it went 3-3 and they broke into coverage. Any idea what happened here, Swamprat? How'd they let things get away from them?

I graduated from high school more than 15 years ago now and know precious little about how high school works these days. But I feel like I've seen a lot of schools go from being resistant to technology to embracing it. You can go too far and think it solves all sorts of problems it actually doesn't, but it's interesting to see schools try and figure out what it's good for. What's the percentage of schools out there that are embracing...
