Turning it off but it's 4-0 to the USA U-17s in the 88th minute. Four different goal scorers. Mexico looms midweek.

CONCACAF U-17 Championship getting started this weekend. Four spots at the U-17 World Cup up for grabs. Watching USA v Jamaica on YouTube right now. Josh Sergeant from St. Louis, MO nearly put the US up in the 22nd with a curling shot on a set piece that was just tipped away by the keeper. Forward Ayo Akindola, who plays for Toronto FC II in USL, has also had a couple good chances. Unfortunate that this tournament is happening now as that...

Two more games, both in Louisville, in July and August to decide this year's Dirty River Derby.

FC Cincinnati 1:1 Louisville City FC Louisville's first half goal came against the run of play a bit. Cincinnati played really high pressure early on and had most of the ball in the first 15 minutes of so. Cincinnati's goal in the second half was frustrating to see as it was a bit of a cheapie that bounced around in the box, but Louisville should have cleared it and failed to. So be it. And class act by Aodhan Quinn as he just turned...

Lou City vs. Cincinnati. Game 1. Dirty River Derby. I'm in Cincinnati all weekend and the weather might be looking a little better than the forecasts were predicting a couple days ago. Really hoping that's the case anyway. Hitting up Rheingeist in OTR and then a place I've never been before called the Brass Tap over by UC ahead of the game today. Should be a great day. The other two games are in Louisville later this summer. For the...

Played just my second round of the year last Saturday. Brutal outing, despite playing a course I really like, Midland Trail out near Eastwood. Weekly league starts up Tuesday after Derby and I'm not looking too hot right now.

I watched this one last night. That goal was just silly. No Joe Cole and no Sergei Hristov for Tampa last night. I guess they're just taking a break during a midweek game? Same for Quinn for FCC? Hated to see that Dacres will be sitting out the Louisville game this weekend. But it was a pretty fair red on a studs-up kick. That's a tough road swing for Tampa going back to back in Louisville and Cincinnati. I'm sure they'll be happy to...

Can't deal with you. Trying to determine how much I hate the phrase "size of a jumbo Earth". If it's massively larger, then it ain't the size of Earth, is it? MSN needs some copy editors. Now did you say something, kiddo?

Agreed. I think the Republicans retain that seat fairly easily in the runoff. Barring something extraordinary.

To answer the question of what a good result would be, this team still doesn't recruit anywhere near the level of FSU or Clemson. Beating them both regularly is never going to happen. Any season with 10 wins is still an outstanding effort for UofL at this stage. My opinion anyway, Heisman winner or not.

Definitely a big week for your guys. Tough week. Louisville has looked pretty solid to this point, but your new forward might make more money than half our team put together, so we'll see if this restructured Louisville team is ready to make the big leap this season. FCC was definitely impressive against a St. Louis team that held Louisville to a scoreless draw just a few weeks ago. Louisville's new centerback pairing has been solid in...

It's definitely a small field. Squeezing a soccer field onto the baseball diamond isn't easy since Slugger was designed to be pretty small and there's almost no room along the baselines. I hadn't heard the fouls angle before but it's not surprising. Usually what it does is clog up offense since it takes away some amount of space to spread out. Still I thought it was a decent game. Lots of shots but too few made it on target for both teams. I...

This meltdown was predictable. If the playoffs had been in January, the Wild might've had a shot. But they weren't. Minnesota was completely rotten though all of March and despite winning a couple in a row to end the season, this is the Minnesota we've come to know. Mercifully short series for Wild ticket holders.

Pittsburgh absolutely dominated that OT period, right up through the goal. Columbus ran out to an early lead yet barely even scraped into overtime, getting the tying goal with five minutes left, having previously surrendered their lead.

With Challenger Lifts moving to that new facility over by the airport and that junkyard being over there, I'd imagine nothing much would happen on that 40 acres without some governmental group agreeing to help with environmental cleanup. It just would sit vacant. We'll see what that means as far as money.

Updated news as the team's board members have been speaking with the media at midday. Louisville City FC seeks to build new stadium in Butchertown - WDRB 41 Louisville News Team's proposal is that city will acquire the land and do the environmental cleanup. Then developers will buy the land back and a TIF district will aid in financing the $40 million stadium and $160 million in additional projects in the area.

No. Nothing in there was new information but several fun straw man arguments and no mention of the breakdown in protocol that led to someone being pulled off a plane after it had already boarded.

No it's definitely United's fault. Should never have let the plane board until they knew whether a flight crew needed to deadhead to Louisville. But that was probably at the foot of a staff member at the terminal who was minimally trained and whose pay probably tops out at about $9.50 per hour. I'm sure he/she has already paid with their job. If that plane doesn't board before that check is made, none of this happens.

I don't disagree there. It's all a little alarming how it escalated. Heck, if they'd have offered me that cash I'd have said "throw in my rental car and I'll even carry your employees bags on for them." But the courts will take care of this particular guy. I'd like to see new rules in place, I just don't know that an executive order gets us there in a way we'd like later on. It's one thing to tell executive agencies to change immigration...
