Congrats to the Rebels on the getting that first win. I felt like Boyle would be the better team and they were clicking on all cylinders in this one. John Hardin has some great athletes....but not nearly enough. Witherspoon is not a QB but a great athlete. He never comes off the field and surely cannot survive the season if this holds true. Boyle was able to do what they haven't been able to in recent years....Oline and Dline players going...

Also there was some discussion about Anthony Witherspoon at QB.....is that true today? I know at one point he was getting some big time D1 looks. Kid is a tremendous athlete. Anyway, should be a good opener for both teams.

In fact, let's go ahead and discuss now. Boyle showed in their scrimmage vs Madison Central that there is a big difference saying this is the most talented team ever and showing this is the most talented team ever. Dropped balls, penalties, missed blocks, blown assignments, and poor tackling looks more like a mediocre team that might get 7 wins and lose a second round playoff game. Good news....it was only a scrimmage!:thumb:

He is the equivalent of a HS Larry Bird in my opinion. Love watching him play and a privilege for my son to play AAU with him for 2 years.
