  1. They will have J.Midden returning as a junior, J. Lewis returning as a senior, and J. Boyers returning as a senior. All played in most if not all games unless they were injured.
  2. I have no doubt Case will apply. However, he was never offered the job previously to have passed on it. After Kendall left, he would of loved to have been selected as the head coach. However at the time, I think he did not have enough experience coaching and zero head coaching experience, which is why Coach Brooks was selected, IMO!
  3. You do realize that Harrison County is without their best player who in the first 3 games had 26, 26, and 29 points as well as averaged 5.7 rebounds per game. I wouldn't consider this a statement win at all.
  4. Harrison played without both Custard boys tonight. They tried to keep it close. Only down 3 at one point in the 4th quarter but the cards was too much for the breds.
  5. Harrison County 8th grade COLTS came out of the KBC as STATE CHAMPIONS out of 92 teams. The team ends their middle school careers with a record of 74-7. They have a bluegrass conference runner up in 6th grade, along with a final 4 appearance in the 6th grade state tournament. They have two bluegrass conference championships in 7th and 8th grade, along with making it to the elite 8 of the state tournament last year. In the opening round game Saturday morning, the Colts were down 19 to start the 4th quarter to Christian Co. They rallied and came back to win by 2 points. Also in the final 4 game, the COLTS were down 10 heading into the 4th quarter and went on an 18-2 run to advance to the championship game where they defeated Robert D Campbell 47-26. The final 4 consisted of Harrison CO, Robert D Campbell, LCA, and Henderson North. Three of the 4 teams in the final 4 were ALL from the Bluegrass Conference and ALL three are in the same division of the conference. Kaydon Custard for Harrison County was awarded the MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER of the tournament award. He flirted with having a triple double during the championship game.
  6. What a game that was played last Thursday over at Elkhorn. Harrison County was down 38-22 to start the 4th quarter. HC scored with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter to make the score 38-30 elkhorn. HC got a defensive stop to take possession of the ball. HC scored again with 2:21 left in the 4th quarter making the score 38-34 Elkhorn. Harrison co recovered on a onside kick and goes in to score again with a little over a minute in the game. The final score was 42-38 Harrison co with Kaydon Custard scoring all 6 touchdowns for the Colts.
