  1. Did you remember the super secret cadence you had to keep while banging the game up and down and how hard to blow on each end of the game to get them to work? I still remember how to get unlimited lives on Contra.
  2. Patiently waiting for the South Northeastern Western, Just around the right side of Joe’s barn (the red one not the white one) All conference team announcement.
  3. Great Crossing, Scott County, Fredrick Douglas...all in 5A with CovCath, Highlands, Bowling Green, etc, etc. Ouch.
  4. And with the success Campbell County is having along with their increasing academic scores, the standouts have choices
  5. I’m guess it can happen from time to time especially if that student has an opportunity to really stand out and possibly gain scholarship opportunities. I would think baseball would be another sport where this may happen. But not on a consistent enough basis to make a difference for that program.
  6. Trying to be delicate...no parent is going to allow their kid to transfer to a school who’s academic numbers and graduation rates are lower to play football.
  7. Not trying to be cruel or anything but Dayton isn’t exactly the type of school or program that is going to pull anyone from anywhere. Most Single A schools are like that though. You play the kids who live in your area. Dayton, Bellevue, and a few others are up and coming but they are not Beechwood.
