  1. Sounds like i may need to change my schedule around. I am supposed to be Nashville to watch a player. Sounds like i need to be the nky area or get a colleague to go there . Where can i find a schedule. Ive recently been assigned the midwest area which goes from Tn -Oh - Neb- ky and Missouri, Kansas . So trying to get a foundation of areas. After 25 plus years of being out west and in the south and working on word of mouth to travel to small hotbeds it's beneficial to talk to the people who see players regularly. Not showcase talent that prepare you to be looked at but actually sitting in the stands ,hearing it, and seeing it live . That's how you can tell who has it fundamentally and mentally.
  2. With stats like that has he had any offers especially the 1.9 pop time thats better than most MLB catchers. Not saying its not believable but pop times are subjective to the person recording it. I've some very good catchers in my travels across the country and on ave... pop times are right around the 2.0 - 2.1 range and ive seen some very good catchers in fla , tx and ca. That are considered early picks in the june draft and D-1 signees and none with a 1.9 pop. Best was a kid from California with a 1.98. But as i said pop times are subject to whoever is recording them.
  3. Ive seen those 4 catchers from the 4 schools mentioned. I think ive seen the kid from Sk more than the others. Against N.oldham, highlands , St. X. and Bullitt . Tall lanky kid, good frame coverage around the plate. Great mechanics on blocking Showed a strong arm against ST.X . Based on Max preps hes hovering around .400. I liked the kid from Highlands as well. Solid mechanics. Cov cath has a lineage of good catchers. But none like the maile kid from a few years ago.
  4. I've seen alot of baseball around the area. Who are the top catchers in the Northern Kentucky area. Ive seen a few come and and play in the Louisville Invitational a few weeks ago and have gotten up north to catch a few key matchups. SK Highlands Cov Cath Beechwood. So those that are familiar with the catching talent up there. Who are the top catchers.
