Frankly they do have an excuse. The rules states that VACCINATED athletes who are exposed to COVID do not have to quarantine, but UNVACCINATED athletes who are exposed to COVID do have to quarantine even if they are ASYMPTOMATIC. There is also proof that VACCINATED people are often ASYMPTOMATIC, so there for a VACCINATED athlete who is "exposed"(ban contact tracing), could have the virus and be ASYMPTOMATIC and spread the virus to teammates while UNVACCINATED ASYMPTOMATIC athletes who were exposed could be at home for no reason while their VACCINATED teammates possibly spread the virus. This post is not ANTI-VAX, it's ANTI-Lack of common sense when it comes to the joke that is contact tracing and guidelines. It's real simple.. WAIVER. The sad reality is this, the virus has be manipulated by many which has made many uncertain about what to believe even when it involved medical experts, etc.

I say implement waivers, and play on as normal if you are healthy, the biggest issue we have right now is contract tracing, that needs to be completely scrapped.

Which is contrary to what is being pushed by the media, since vaccinated people actually have LESS symptoms but can still contract and SPREAD the virus shouldn't it be the other way around? Unless there's a whole other reason....wait.

Crazy time to be living in Kentucky right now. The exposure stuff is crazy, if a kid's sister and laws baby sister gets covid and you saw her at a picnic and grabbed a paper plate from her last week and you've had no symptons you should not have to quarantine regardless of vax status.
