  1. Sissons from highlands, any of the Newport trio, or Thelen from CCH. Reyes from Casey county is a nice player, but he put up numbers on a middle of the road team in the 12th. Moreover, Baughman should have made it over him if they wanted a player from region 12 or the Bruner kid from West Jess. The Butler kid from J'town had a good season, but how did he make it over a kid like Tolley, when Tolley led his team to Rupp. I get its an imperfect science, but to not have one kid from one of the top 3 regions (9th)...But congrats to all the kids that made it!
  2. As someone who has followed Kentucky high School hoops for a long time...they left off some key players. They didn't take anyone from the ninth. I wish there was a better method for selection. I've heard there are a lot of politics involved.
  3. Harding making a bad decision his senior year. Had two good successful years at Newport with a supporting cast. He is making a move to a bigger school in a very tough league. Not reconized as a DI prospect. Remember Mullins & Hollis their senior years. Forgotten.
  4. Donnie Miller and Tahj Harding both had great state aau runs, and they are two lesser known prospects. However, they will be the top two seniors in the ninth next year and should’ve made it.
  5. I suppose the CCH kids are upset Mr. Basketball didn't go to one of them. However, Im glad it didn't go to CJ. I like the kid and he's from a good family, but if you don't live in Kentucky you shouldn't win the award. JMO, and as I said I wish him the best. On the other hand, AJ Mayer should've been MR. FOOTBALL. That was a crime.
