  1. I've been following the Juggs for years and I do know that the past few years there were multiple players quit throughout the season. Started with 5 seniors this year, ended with 1. As far as the ones you are speaking of I think there was obviously more to it since KHSAA gave them eligibility to transfer without moving. So I think its more than different coaches same stories.
  2. I'm not sure what was said about him but he is no longer teaching at Lloyd.
  3. I agree with you about college. Actually feel more kids should take advantage of junior colleges and prep schools. So many kids are hung up on D1 status when a smaller college gives kids a chance to grow, mature both athletically and academically.
  4. Actually no, he was not suspended or quit the team. His did not play, granted it was an important game but at this point it is unknown to everyone why. These threads start speculating and condemning kids when it should be about promoting sports. People jump to conclusions and then false information is spread. The reality is these are kids playing a sport and just because you watch them, read about them and think you know them, you have no idea what these kids go through. You might want to remember that many of these kid that are talked about read these threads.
  5. Not the 2nd time. He was not removed from Lloyd’s team. As to why he chose not to play I’m sure will come out at some point. And being removed from Dixies team was overturned legally when he won KHSAA eligibility to play at Lloyd. Interesting to listen to opinions about a kid when you don’t know the facts. Stick to the game and not spreading false information about a kid.
  6. No, not all schools make you pay if you enroll from out of district. You are correct about paying school tax with your property tax for the area you live. But if you go out of district it is up to the school to decide if they require an fee. There are some schools in Northern KY who do accept out of districts enrollments at all, some do with a fee, some do with no fee. Its up to each district to decide. I'm not saying it is that way all over KY, this is just what I know from experience in Northern KY.
  7. Yes they can. You can open enroll into another district if they are willing to accept you. This is usually based on numbers, meaning if they have the room to accept out of district students. Some districts in Northern KY have an open enrollment fee and some do not. I don't believe any school loses money if a student is in another district from which they live. The money a school receives is based on actual number of enrollments.
  8. Easy to make assumptions but would like to be on the other side to know what is happening. Already hearing some players don't plan on returning next year.
  9. Not discipline, Cody was playing with a pulled hamstring. He's been put in a few times hurt lately and getting push back when he wants to come out. Szabo was sat because he was told he didn't guard someone, but they were in a 2-3 zone, Szabo in the back and was guarding the guy in the corner where he was supposed to be.
  10. Not sure where you are going with this. It was just a comment saying they played well and they have some shooters. At the end of the 1st period they were only down by one..20-19. They team seemed to play better overall than I remember last year which was a loss by 34 points.
  11. Williamstown definitely came to play. They have some shooters on that team and I think they will continue to improve. You can tell they are being coached well. But it was Senior Night for the Juggs and they were ready to take over the game. Treshawn Cody ended with 37 points and probably 8+ dunks during the game. Tyler Szabo followed with 22 points hitting 6 three pointers in the first half.
  12. I've heard the issues at Dixie were do to Dixie and it went legal. Which is also how they got eligibility. Amazing last year Lloyd had a great team. I think they still do but wonder what is going on there.
  13. I think a lot us in the stands are wondering the same thing.
  14. The statement was made by Cody after the game that during the 4th period he was told not to shoot which is why he got so frustrated on the court. Not sure why. Maybe as someone else commented the coach has a game plan.
  15. Agree. The Juggs still need some work. Coaching is a definite factor. Cody was playing with his hands tied tonight, he was told not to shoot. He is a force when he is able to play his game.
