  1. Even if there is a rule there has to be an exception when a parent moves jobs. Of course the child is going to school where his dad coaches. They should make an exemption in those instances. There really isn’t a lot consistency with the Khsaa on these transfers anyway. I’ve seen plenty leave and play immediately with no other reason than they wanted to be on a better team. So yes he should get to play.
  2. They got a good one! He’s a great coach and Coach Belcher is a class act!
  3. He’s also very classy and a well rounded person. He was very nice to the middle schoolers that were playing this night. The whole team showed great sportsmanship. They are class Acts.... and he is IMO the most underrated player in the region.
  4. I really like Robertson Co. They have all the tools to compete with anyone and Coach Kelch is a great coach!!! These are my sleepers of the region. The Devils are for real!!
  5. I think it’s a good thing.... I’m sure it will be successful just like the class A is.
  6. Yes these kids can play... Most play on reputable AAU teams and at least 1 on a nationally ranked top 20 team. They won’t shy from the big stage. They have an excellent leader in Pat Mckay. This new team leads to a 100% culture change... these kids are accustomed to winning. They know how to win and they know what it takes and are willing to do it. It will take take time for their bodies to mature but when they do the 10th should take notice...
  7. Yes that’s the million dollar question but it looks like they all want to stay and don’t be surprised if there is more young talent coming g in the next few years... everyone is correct about there will be growing pains. It will be tough but you can’t gauged this teams success with wins and losses bc they are so young. My thought is they will compete and maybe upset a couple teams. Within 2 maybe 3 years they will a top team in the region.
  8. It’s a good time to be a St Pat fan. They will have growing pains but have some of the top middle schoolers in the state. There will be some growing pains when you play middle schoolers on varsity but I think people will be shocked at how advanced and talented they are.
  9. Yes St Pat will be having a team this year. They’re young guys but are some of the best middle schoolers in the state. A couple play for AAU programs and at least 1 plays on a nationally ranked AAU program.
  10. A very talented well mannered young man who has an awesome coach!!!
  11. That game was a little closer than the score indicated and when Fleming stole the ball at the end when st pat was trying to dribble out, St Pat got it back and finished the play! Hit them and they will hit you back win or lose. It’s a new day down there. The coaches talked after the game and they are good. One thing I can assure you about St. Pat if you punch St Pat they will bite back! If you want to submit then stop trying and make it obvious. When st pat is down 39 they don’t quit playing and as long as that’s the case they expect the other team to keep playing. No disrespect to anyone but get used to it. They will not lay down. Point blank period! When did it become the winning teams responsibility to not score?
  12. That’s what Fleming thought too. St Pat was missing one of their stars so it could’ve been different with him. Good game though against a really tough Ryle team.
